i mean...what do you do if you have a credit card from canada that has payments that need to be made...then you move to japan. How do you pay off the payments? can you move the debt from the canadian credit card to a japanese credit card? or can you continue to pay off the canadian card from japan?

It doesn't make any sense. I am a "deadbeat" to them, and I have a 0 credit balance. I have reported them to the bbb, and I have called, sent certified mail, and emailed them regarding the situation and it has yet to be cancelled. They added (without my consent) a 10.00 a month charge to my credit card and when I tried to cancell that I berated and made to feel like an idiot. DO NOT EVERY USE THEIR CREDIT SERVICES, YOU WILL REGRET IT! Please tell me, other than having an attorney settle this, is there anything I can do to stop this madness?

I recently decided to pay off a car loan and imagine my surprise to find that I owed another $4,000 in interest because I paid after the stated DUE DATE, even though I paid BEFORE the penalty date. I've never had to pay a late fee. I've researched my loan papers and in VERY small print it states that there is a penalty for not paying by the "due date" but no specifics are stated. I guess my complaint (other than $4,000! due) is that there is no statement on the coupon book about a late assessment between the "due date" and the "late penalty date" and.............I have never received a statement from the car company informing me of the growing interest charges. I have excellent credit and COULD have paid this on the exact date it was due but left it in an account to grow MORE MONEY. I think this practice is unethical. I just called my sis-in-law and she found out she was doing the same thing! Any ideas out there how I can get some money back...........short of suing?

I applied for and was supposedly approved for a loan through www.norwoodcapital.com however, I was told I had to pay an insurance policy upfront. After paying, and sending the money to Canda, I never saw the loan or my money again. Later I realized that there is no phone number on their website and the 1-800 number I was given, is no longer accessible in my area.

Here is my situation I'm 25 years old. I just checked my credit score, it says 640. I have two credit cards and a personal loan. My first Credit card is a small Capital One of $500. My 2nd Credit Card is a Circuit City account for $1000. My personal loan balance is $2000.

Both credit cards were maxed out, plus my personal loan. I just finished paying off everything this weekend. I have no debt now. Can someone give me an estimate on what my credit score should look like, once they know everything is paid off.

Should I open a Target account and a gas account, will that help or hurt my score?

At, 25, Am I on the right path to excellent credit, or do I still need a lot of work?

Thanks!

Bank America is known to over charge, steal, loose payments from US citizens as it is. They are a part of the group of banks who charge as much as 27% interest by how they roll over the payments and also got the bankruptcy laws tightened. What they do is offer an initial low interest rate to get people in then as soon as they accrue any debt they begin jumping it up like they did to me in college then my student loan after 5 years never got paid up or down and I only borrowed 3 thousand. I paid at least 50 dollars a month and they claimed the interest was 7%. They lied to me and the IRS about my interest charged along with payments. When they asked to refiance I paid it off with another credit card because when I tried to pay it off with check they would find a way to absorb the payments so I could do nothing. They are doing the same to many other people who got student loans through them. First they transfer it to some student loan corporation before they really begin ripping off

In 2006, I went to this website and got my "free" annual credit report. Or so I thought. Later that year I noticed that $12's had been taken out of my bank account every month by Triple Advantage since I got that "free" credit report. I don't know how they even got my credit card info, since I didn't give it to them. When I called Triple Advantage to cancel the membership (that I hadn't even signed up for), they told me that they hadn't been charging me money and that I didn't even have a membership w/ them. Hmmm. So I called all 3 credit company's with the annual credit report and all of them told me that they had no membership on file for me. So who was taking my money if the very ppl that show up on my bank statement deny doing it? I canceled that credit card, so they can't take my money anymore, but still....could this come back later to haunt me?
