Hi, basically a few years ago when I was 18 I got a catalogue and bought some things and lost my job so ended up defaulting on payments. I paid it all off but now the company isn't trading anymore. I want to get a catalogue but none will give me one, does anyone know any that do.

I am 20, I have a Visa and Amex which I use for everyday things.I have a store credit card (express) which has been open for about 2 years and I have only used it twice. Should I close it. Yesterday I applied for a Macy's card and got it for 1 purchase. How long should I keep it, if I barely use it? Does it mess up my credit to have credit cards I dont really use?

Does anyone know the typical point for a home equity line of credit ? By point, I mean the up-front fee that is proportional to the credit limit. So if the term asks for 5 points (5%) and the line of credit is $100,000, there is a $5,000 fee. Do you think that the numbers I've just mentioned are a pretty good deal, assuming that the interest rate is good? Thank you.

I am wondering because if I buy something using a credit card and then pay it, would they apply any interest rate or anything? If not, what's the maximum number of days, before the interest starts?

Thanks!

I cosigned and I do regret doing it, but my question is- If I cancelled the account so that the person I cosigned for would stop racking up the bill, does that make it guaranteed so that the person cannot rack the bil up anymore? Im paying the bill off but Im afraid the person I cosigned for might continue charging on the account. Also does the bill have to be paid off in order to not be linked to the person you cosigned for?
