You will have to pay an overdraft fee, and the place that you wrote a bad check to can keep trying to withdraw the funds, which will really put you in a world of hurt.

If you're overdrafting you're writing bad checks and you can go to jail.

You're account will be closed, you'll have problems writing checks at places, and you can be sued by the bank.
