I paid my credit debit and have closed the account in 1992, should it still be on my credit report as closed and paid. I thought that 7 years was the limit that old information can stay on your account. I was late with some payments in the past but have since paid it off in full.

I'm curious how you could get a loan for 300K for approximately $800/month although I have some debt and good credit score.
Are these loans interest only? How do they work to consolidate the existing debt? I'm trying to get a 380K - 450K loan to buy a house without paying $2200-3000 a month for the mortgage.

About 10 months ago, my wife went to an emergency room because she was having terrible pains. We did not have the funds to pay the bill. For last few months a collection agency has been trying to collect the funds; however, we still have enough money to pay. Last week, we received in the mail a settlement offer to only pay 50% of the bill. This is something that we can arrange with our parents help. Should we take the offer of not? I am afraid to they will come later asking for the other 50%. We are college students, and we are barely making to pay our education. We the intention of paying, but health care is so expensive, and we do not have insurance. Please let have you advise. Thank you! I will attach the letter content in an additional comment.

If I am sued by citibank and the court orders wage garnishment, massachusetts law dictates that I am allowed to keep only $500 a month. In the event that this happens, and I pray it doesn't, how can I live on such a small income?

I am a college student. I make about $900 - $1000 a month. I need to buy a new car. I have really good credit, but I can't find a loan because I don't make a minimum of $1500 a month. But the thing is, I dont pay for ANYTHING. I live with my parents, and they don't make me pay rent, I have a metroPCS cell phone, and since we combined it on the family plan to save $10 a month, my dad decided he would pay for that as well. I don't pay for car insurance.

The only things I pay for are gas and the occasional oil change! Other than that, my money goes to whatever I want!

The problem is.... NO ONE WANTS TO GIVE ME A LOAN BECAUSE I DON'T MAKE A MINIMUM OF $1500 A MONTH!

I have good credit ( somewhere around 700 or 720), and I pay my credit card bill on time every month and I usually pay at least 3 times the minimum payment!

I would have absolutely no problem paying $400-$500 a month for a car loan!

All I need is a reputable loan center to give me some MONEY!

Lets say a father obtained a credit card in his son's name with the intention of establishing a perfect credit history on that card and giving it to the son on the son's 18th birthday, in the mean time the father is teaching the son how to manage his finances responsibly. Would that be a bad thing?

To find the semi-annual interest amount, i thought the equation would be to multiply the bond issue amount by 20 (10 semi-annual pymt = 20 ). I need to understand how to find the correct answer in order to find compute the cash proceeds & any discount, then the process of amortizing the bond. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
