Debt is what you find yourself in when you've spent money you haven't earned, yet.

An example of debt: You use your credit card to buy something. That gets paid off. Then you use the credit card to buy a couple more things, but only make a small payment on what you owe-not pay it off. The amount left over when you make the small payment, is debt. That is money you still owe.

Debt is the horrible monster that will haunt you for a good part of your life. Debt is something you wanna stay away from cuz once you're in debt, it's extremely hard to get out.

a person is in debt when they cannot pay back what they owe, for example they borrow money from the bank, they lost the money, they are in debt. there are consequences if you are in debt from the ban, they might take your car, house even!
