i got a check from new york cause i sold something on a auction site....well i got the check and they did not sign it....does that mean its no good....and the check is also printed out not written....and its from Penton Learning System from new york.....and from a chase bank check....so if a take it to a chase bank can they figure out whos it is or can they cash it or can they not cash it or what....or is the check no good since it has no signature

The check is not valid without a signature. Can you phone the company and tell them about the missing signature? It is probably an honest mistake (I received an unsigned check as payment recently from a reputable medical office, so it happens).

They will probably ask you to return the check to them for a signature.

If there isn't a signature on the bottom right side then it is not valid, you will have to send it back to that person so they can endorse it, or either request a new check, and let them know that they didn't sign it and the bank isn't going to accept it.
