I have an ex-tenant who still owes rent money. If I cannot recover the money, I would at least want to put a complaint on his credit report.

This is sort of part 2 of my last question....Thanks to those who replied. I really appreciate it. A lot of the answers I received mentioned "Statute of Lim." for my state. So my next Question is...my old debts were incurred back when I lived in CA. I recently moved to AZ. Does the statute reset? Or now does the statute for AZ apply to my debts that I originally incurred when I was living in CA?
Thanks again for the replies.

How do I get a company from taking money out of my account? I have called them turned them in and they are still taking money out of my checking account. I have told the bank I dont know who they are and asked them to stop all transactions unless it is by me inside the bank. I dont know what to do anymore. I am now over 1000 in the hole because of this one company. It is called USA credit and I have never even been on their website. They got my information from Platinum Credit Card. Which I applied for but was denied. Any other suggestions please before I end up in jail.

I cannot refi my house because of a Prepayment penalty. I spoke to my local bank about trying to get a personal loan but it will be at a 20% interest rate at a $500 a month payment for the next 5 years which is really too high to fit in my budget right now. I am thinking about Credit Counseling but I know it totally ruins your credit so I was trying to avoid but it looks like this might be my only option. Anyone ever been through one of these programs? Was it helpful? Any other suggestions?

One of my neighbor's father in law has not paid taxes in 15 years. Although he does own his house, he is otherwise flat broke and can't get any loans because he maxed out his credit cards a few years ago and never paid them. He is afraid to get a job that is on the books for fear that the IRS will realize he owes them money. Can he declare bankruptcy and come clean with the IRS without losing his house?

I I currently have chargeoffs on my credit report that are 2 - 4 years old. The chargeoffs I have were paid off 2 - 4 years ago. But unfortunately these charegeoffs are still on my credit reportand according to most people I have two wait 7 years before they are removed. Which to me is like a prison sentence.

Does anybody know a way to remove these old chargeoffs so that I can improve my score and get on with my life. I want to get married but my fiancee refuses until these chargeoff are gone.

Or does anybody know a reputable organization that can help.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is there such a credit card where I can keep loading money on it but when im out of money the card will not keep charging me, so its impossible to go in debt. I want a card like this because I dont feel safe using my real credit card on the web. I also want this for my eBay acount, so the credit card needs to be able to be loaded on to like a normal card.

I need to cash a Wells Fargo check at Wells Fargo, but I don't have an account there. Will I be charged? I've heard that I can cash the Wells Fargo check somewhere else, but they'll charge me. Wil this be true even if I'm cashing the Wells Fargo check at a Wells Fargo bank?

If so, how much will they charge me?

I live in California, if that matters.
