I have a few outstanding credit card debits on my report and have start to make deals with the creditor and paying them off.

It usually takes about 1 to 2 months. Major credit card companies tend to report every month to the credit reporting agencies, but other companies do not report as regularly.

Try consumer credit counseling. They are a non profit organization that helps to organize your credit problems. Also, if any negative credit is on your report, it shows that you are trying to regain control of your financial problems in a positive way.
