Something that doesn't take me three years to get!

Lower interest rate.

I don't need airline points, cash back, or a catalogue of junk to choose from. What I really want is a no-fee card with, let's say, a 3.9% fixed-for-life interest rate.

I'm swimming in credit card points right now, but never use them. (Disclaimer - Delta and Marriott Platinum and use those points often.) I also have a Discover Card, but who wants to overpay so they can get money back at the end of the year?

Whether there are points awarded has no impact in my choice of cards. I have been bouncing a shrinking balance from card to card to take advantage of zero-percent, but would stop and leave well enough alone for a very low rate.

Cash. Cold, hard cash.

That is why I have a Citibank Dividend card, a Discover card and a Costco American Express Rebate card.

Each gives cash back.

Cash, moolah, dinaros. Everything else is a bribe to buy something else. Give me this with a no annual fee card and I'm a happy camper.
