I have to write a figurative language poem for school and i cant think of a simile or metaphor for the first line. Everything builds off of the simile so i need a good one.

How many of you who are not considered pretty or good looking by today's standards have noticed that pretty people have it easier than the rest of humanity not blessed with a pleasant face or body?

How many of you know Tyra Banks? Tyra did a show where she dressed up as a fat woman. Tyra wanted to know what it felt like to live as a fat woman in America. So, Tyra went out into society searching for employment, searching for friends at a local NYC bar, just living an ordinary life.

Guess what?

People treated Tyra (not knowing it was the beautiful model) like dirt. Men rejected Tyra (dressed up as a fat woman); they did not want to be seen talking with her in public. How simplistic we as human beings can be.

How many of you can relate to this Tyra Banks experience?

I got a toy poodle 3 days ago. She is 7 weeks old. Weighs 1 pound. She is a good puppy throughout the day. She is doing fairly good with her potty training. She follows me and my husband everywhere!! When she takes naps she wants to be in my lap, but i refuse to let her. I make her sleep on the floor. She usually passes out at my feet (where she is now ; ] ) ....BUT at night when im ready for bed, she REFUSES to go to sleep. Iv trired putting her in her "play pen", the bathroom, or just letting her roam free throught the house... NOTHING works! No matter what i do she WHINES and SKREIKS! Last night it lasted 10 hours!!!!!!! I read that you just had to let them whine and they would stop, but it didnt work! SHE CRIED ALL NIGHT!...I always make sure she has her bed, blanket, food water, toys, potty pad... i even put a clock that ticks by her bed, bc i heard that helped...
What do i do??
How long should it take to break her of this habit??
PLEASE HELP!!!!

it came out on upn in the 90's.. it was a guy from another planet that morphed into a hero, kind of like power rangers, he lived with a family that had a kid about his age... and there was a little fury alien like animal that followed him and always had to hide in his gymbag. when he morphed it was like a buglike hero wit antlers and red eyes.... it sounds wierd, but can anybody else remember it?

Last night i changed my 8 month old daughters nappy and i found some spots of blood on her nappy it is not from her bum and her pee is normal so i am thinking it is from her vagina as i wiped her with a wipe and it was a red brown colour... Could this be a infection of some sort or could it just be her hormones???? Has anybody elses daughter had this and if so what causes it??? i am taking her to the doctors soon for a check up...

One car is traveling slower than the speed limit on a road that is freshly covered in snow. Another car who is in a blind driveway backs out in reverse. There is limited visibility. The car on the road going on average 20-30mph slams on the brakes at a far distance (determined by skid tracks in the snow), the ABS kicks in but to no avail hits the car coming out of the driveway. The person coming out of the driveway claims the other driver was speeding, the other party denies it and blames it on the slippery conditions. That same night many other accidents happened because of the snow and limited visibility. Who was in error in this accident?

She was on every drug she could get her hands on, she smoked and she drank during the entire pregnancy. Now that the baby is in prenatal intensive care, everyone is wondering why she came out early. Her and the father are so worried. It makes me sick. How could anyone do that to their baby? I guess my question is, what are the baby's chances to live amidst the horrible circumstances?

Dreamed I was sitting in an aliens house ...... one alien was dark green one was dark purple and skin resembles sliding mud I asked them how old were they and the woman alien said millions of years old .... and laughed about it .....
