You should be able to find a similar necklace for a much lower price if you check other jewelers. You are paying for the name, and no one will ever really know where you purchased the necklace. Think about other items you were dieing to have, and how the next year you didn't even wear them again. Our tastes change constantly so don't invest so much in something you may not care for in a year or two.

It is nver wise to use your lifesavings for anything that won't either save your personal health or your financial health.
It would be a bad beginning for you to think that a necklace no matter how nice is a smart way to spend almost all of your money. I realize you are a kid but it is just not a good start, or a good habit to be in.
IS there any way you could get a babysitting job? or something else to earn $$? Then perhaps you could take some money from your account and the rest from earnings?
Good luck!

Look for something similar and cheaper. Although you might think you will wear the choker every day because you like it so much, you will probably set it aside a few weeks after you buy it. Then, something else that is new and unattainable will catch your eye and you definitely won't be able to pay for it. Save your money and only buy things you can afford. There is plently of nice jewelry you can buy for under $20. Plus, few teens can really tell the difference between gold, silver, and silver-plated jewelry. You can always find the look for less.

Don't get it. I know how you feel when you want something really bad but you'll feel really crappy when your friends want to go shopping or to the movies and you don't have any money. There are so many better things you can do with $375. You can probably get something that looks almost exactly like it for way cheaper. The only difference would be that it wouldn't say Tiffany's on it.

Save that money and keep building savings. Open up a savings account. Start saving young and you will be a step above all your friends. They will be wondering why you get to enjoy life and why they still have to work their butt's off to make ends meat.

You SHOULD learn the difference between WANT and NEED. If you do that NOW, you can EASILY retire a multimillionaire. If you buy the necklace, you are headed down the same road to debt as the 'average' American.

Keep saving kid. Buy only when you can afford to buy it.

in 6 months, you'll either lose it or someone will steal it from you.
