I've been really depressed lately...
I just had a play, On Saturday night, and on Sunday, and evr since Sunday night I've been depressed, I miss the cast and all the directors and producers...I cry every night...
Is this normal?
How long is this going to go on?
What should I do?

No, it is normal. You have a case of the after-show-blues. A lot of people go through it especially when the experience was a good one. It will pass and look at it this way...there will always be another show!

Start focusing on future projects. The show is done and all you can do is hold onto the fun memories. Then before you know it another show will be up and going through the rigors of rehearsal and then you will make more good memories.

Theatre is a cycle. The show goes up and then it comes down. Eventually it is something you get use to.

It isn't the most normal behaviour.
I mean it is quite understandble to miss the cast, directors etc they kind of become your family, but to be crying everynight etc is kinda extreme..maybe talk to your parents or an adult whom you trust like your favourite teacher, sister, aunty etc etc.

It might not also be just the end of a play making you upset..are there things going on at home etc...

I hope this helps..
and I hope you cheer up soon (: (:

It is normal to have a let down at the end of a show. It is abnormal for it to be really strong and last several days. To get over it start making plans for your next show.
