Part 1 use 3 quarters. = .75 add a nickle. = .80 then use 20 pennies. =1.00 and 24 coins.

Part 2 use a half dollar coin. =.50 add a quarter. = .75 then add a nickel. =.80 then the rest with pennys. = 1.00 and 23 coins.
