Of the Star Trek trio: humans Kirk and McCoy, and the Vulcan Spock, who was your favorite character and why?

I like them all, almost equally. Almost...

Kirk is clearly important and charismatic (also, the most likely to get in trouble and survive ... very much like 007) -- he can be annoying but he fits the role, Spock is logical and robot-like (but lacks intution and emotions ... the best episode is when he shows his human side), and McCoy's medical knowledge was very useful and his amusing criticisms of Spock highlighted the fact that Spock was not perfect either (but could he fight?) ... yes, I think I often liked McCoy more than Kirk.

On any given day, I would pick any one of them over the others because, clearly, none of them was perfect. However, for my spouse, I would pick Spock (I prefer him in EVERY way), because I like to torture myself emotionally. ;-) McCoy would be my best friend. Kirk I would keep away from my daughters (if I had any) ... he has no power over me.

Is the Nurse Christine Chapel (previously engaged to the late Dr. Roger Korby) in love with Mr. Spock? And is he somewhat attracted to her? I think she would have been his first choice, if he were not betrothed to T'Pring. Or is this simply some sort of sympathy because he finally understands her affection? (I know the answer... but what do you guys think?)

who else thinks that it would awesome if a GOOD screamer actually went on X factor/Pop Idol or whatever...i mean honestly, its a stupid show, with he same type of people winning....it would be cool if a screamer actually got through, i mean even if there was a duet, a screamer with a 'proper' singer...it would be great!!

especially if the screamer was actually good!!! not some stupid idiot who trys to do it, and if the judges still didnt let them through...I for one would start a riot!!!

bit more of a rant really, i see the program on MTV my super sweet 16 and i get annoyed with these bratty little teenagers (no offense to teens! because it was only 2 years since i was a teen myself) and these spoilt little kids begging your mommy or daddy oh daddy i want this car i want a Ferrari or whatever there getting, and them picking certain kids out of school to who he/she wants to come to the party! no wander they try crashing it, because they treat them like crud!! idk does anyone else here agree with me, thats the question here, im ging to get loads of people to boycott that program! lol

Who are these 100 people they survey? How do they select a good cross section of people for this? If I want them to survey ME, what do I do?

ok, i liked hannah montana too, but yes, they are cancelling the show. In j14 i read that some other dude in like 1990 something came up with the same idea but with a guy not a girl, so he sued the producers. The other dude won, so they canceled the show. I even saw on a disney channel comercial that jason earls even said himself, and i quote,

"After we WRAPED hannah montana i decided to go with a new look to see nobody will reconize me. . . its not really working."

that was on a comercial for the disney 365 thing. And in a recent J14, they mentioned that hannah montana is officially cancelled. I liked the show, but not like people who are saying on here . . . (another quote)

"are they seriously canceling hannah montana??? wtf omfg y the heIl would they do that??? disney will just lose a ton of $ by doing this! disney is being retarded!"

and other stuff like that. i think it is rediculous to obsess over a show. it was good but seriously, obsessing? say yes if ur aggring.

There are a lot of old shows in reruns. But how do they pick them? And why are some of them never shown (at least where I live). I would love to see old episodes of Mod Squad, Emergency, Hawaii 5-0, MacMillan & Wife, etc.... but can never find them on any of the 300+ channels we get on cable.
