How did the Megazord and Tommy's Dragonzord combine?

It could transform with the Saber Tooth Tiger, Triceratops and Mastodon to become DragonZord in Battle Mode, where the DragonZord folded his arms round to become the chest, and the old chest attached to the staff and tail to become an even more powerful staff, and the other three Zords in the same places as it was in the MegaZord. It could also split up and attach to the top of the MegaZord to form the Mega DragonZord.
In the other mode, the Dragon Zord's arms would move out and overlay on the Dino MegaZord, while the rest of the Zord would be attached to Titanus, thus making the Ultra Zord.
