who else thinks that it would awesome if a GOOD screamer actually went on X factor/Pop Idol or whatever...i mean honestly, its a stupid show, with he same type of people winning....it would be cool if a screamer actually got through, i mean even if there was a duet, a screamer with a 'proper' singer...it would be great!!
especially if the screamer was actually good!!! not some stupid idiot who trys to do it, and if the judges still didnt let them through...I for one would start a riot!!!

What I'm worried about is the fact X Factor is encouraging novelty and "jokey" type of music. It doesn't help that most of us and the media enjoy laughing, pointing, criticising (choose whatever your want), as this encourages the act to come back with something even more crazy. Jedward and Wagner comes to mind. They seem to stand out more so than the "proper" singers who are actually singing properly rather than messing about and having fun. I'm not too sure about X Factor but I feel sorry that the clearly proper singers are kicked out in place for these novelty acts. At this rate, it's going to happen more often now. So maybe you're right, that X Factor is killing of proper music so that we can (somehow) enjoy Jedward's performances.

What on earth is a screamer exactly?
I think X-Factor should be like Eurovision - the contestants should have to write and sing (or play) their own music, no covers at all. Then we'll see who deserves to be Christmas No.1!

As if that's going to happen. They'd never go on the show in the first place. But I agree with ya, every year it seems to be the same types of people doing the same bloody thing. It gets old.
