Why there is a penguin in the DFS advert?? Its driving her mad!!!

because they never sell anything and need some kind of eye catching gimick to sell anything.

2 answers really:
1. Because a CGI penguin is cheaper and less irritating that that Lynda "Snip Snip" Barker woman. Unfortunately Martin Kemp was to busy doing the ScS sale.
2. Beacuse people will also ask the question all over the internet thus creating FREE advertising with Viral adverts and plebs posting the advert on YouTube.
My question is, Why oh why do DFS advertise their sale?? They have a sale after sale after sale... never been past a DFS yet that does not have a sale on.

Boring but true. Because in the same way as is happening to your Mum, it grabs people's attention and makes them watch the advert!
