I am a 20 year old British Muslim lady. I do not use bad language on here. My preference is never to discuss or answer any question that refers to sex in any way. I am not flirtacious. What do you think I should do about this impersonator who is saying sexually crude and repulsive things in my name. I will change my name and avatar but once they have you in their sites..... This is an example from last night..http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=ApRBcPJPdf3gqrtGIk8WL8EuLxV.;_ylv=3?qid=20071113102952AAtgonh

Hey everyone, my cat has been sleeping on our balcony for years and has never tried to go off or anything(6th Floor) she just looks out and sleeps on the beds and stuff we set out for her. Anyway I'm going to be going on a trip tomorrow for 5 days to vegas. I'm wondering if I should leave the screen door open since she likes to go outside and sleep at night. I have no wiring or anything because I don't think it's permitted, but she hasn't seemed to need it at all anyway.

I would take a picture but I can't so at 14 seconds in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yradgcSzF8w that's what the railings and how the bars are like, we don't have any tables or anything out there so there's nothing for her to stand on.

Our neighbor will be checking on her several times a day while we're gone for 5 days, should I leave the screen door open so she can sleep outside?

(Any answers fast would be appreciated since I leave tomorrow!) Thanks everyone!

Many if not most Christian items and gifts fond in Christian bookstores or gift stores are Made in China. Even crosses. Many of these Chinese laborers probably have not really even been missioned to. They are buying possibly from the sweatshops or factories with questionable work conditions. Not "Christian" conditions at all or what Jesus would have prescribed of how workers should be treated.

The abuses of labor in China are widely known (Yes abuses, as in human rights abuses. Being made to work 12 hours or more, being beat, raped. Working around dangerous chemicals like lead. Widespread abuses) and some would question the ethics of paying people so little for and then making so much profit of them.

I think this is very wrong and hypocritical, how can it be Christian?

Compressive strength of our bones is important in everyday life. Young's modulus for bone is about 1.4 x 10^10 Pa. Bone can take only about a 1% change in its length before fracturing.

a) What is the maximum force that can be applied to a bone whose minimum cross-sectional area is 3 cm^2? (This is approximately the cross-sectional area of a tibia, or shin bone, at its narrowest point.)

b) Estimate the maximum height from which a 70 kg man could jump and not fracture the tibia. Take the time between when he first touches the floor and when he has stopped to be 0.03 s, and assume that the stress is distributed equally between his legs.

Thanks for the help!!!

My coworkers make it their business to include themselves in work related and non work related conversations from across the room. I was told that this was a "cultural" difference that I need to basically accept. So to prove a point, I immulated this by doing the same thing back to them. Instead of getting the point they felt we had reached a common ground. So when they READ that this was a issue that I had - - their response was that "I DO THE SAME THING". So to test this theory they purposely threw out information talking loudly requesting the spelling of a word without formally addressing me. So NOT BITING I laughed at the situation... I IMMULATE EVERYTHING THAT HAS BEEN DONE TO ME, INCLUDING MAKING INTENTIONAL PAINFUL STATEMENTS TOWARDS SOMEONE & THEN FALSELY APPOLOGIZING FOR IT - - STATING THAT IT WAS NOT MY INTENT... BOO BOO FAR FROM BIPOLAR, I'M A CERTIFIED BULLSHITER!!! :)

My older family member insists that we all come to her home for every Thanksgiving. That means a long ride in snowy cold weather and a late night home trip. I want to cook my own dinner and have a few guests this year so I dont have to travel. Is it fair to be held hostage to tradition when I am an adult that wants to enjoy my own home and family? This has created an uprorar and she is livid about losing control over the holiday. I will not be held hostage by her orders. What do you think folks, ever happen to you?

Why are so many parents against spanking their children when they misbehave? Spanking does not have to equate to abuse. It is not a form of abuse. It is a form of discipline. For those of you who do not spank your children, what form of discipline do you use? Timeouts can only go so far. After a child learns that they can act up, get sent to the naughty corner for five or ten minutes, and go back to doing the same thing they were doing before – it’s pointless. They learn that there is a short punishment for their behavior. As they get older, taking things away from them (video games, phone, priviledges) doesn’t work. They get to a point to where they don’t care – especially teenagers. With some kids spanking doesn’t work all the time, but in a lot of cases it does.

Last night I watch the gov. of Georgia and others praying to the God of Israel for rain. Some people were protesting "Seperation of Church and State". I understand their argument (weak at best), but my question is this: Would you be upset if it rained in Atlanta today?

I have been invited to a wedding and in the invitation was a card stating how many people would be attending and that dinner would be $20.00 a plate and to be sent by a certain date. Is this normal? I have seen this one time before years ago. What do you think?

It seems like on the news every week you hear of some of the most bizarre and absurd things that one could even think of. Take for example the man in the story below:

http://www.somerset-kentucky.com/archivesearch/local_story_300195238.html

I mean...what in the hell is up with people nowadays. Regarding the story above, there are just absolutely no words that can describe how beyond awful and disgusting something like that is.

Are people getting worse and worse?

My research is not getting me anywhere so I thought I would try Yahoo Answers friends. I am interested in finding out the downside/upside of surgery itself, of single vision, of ReStor lens. I am scheduled to have my worst eye done on 12/6 and then the other 2 weeks later. Am concerned to say the least because I am a computer programmer and without good vision, no money. My eyes, other than the cataracts, are very healthy and I have no other health issues.

It's sad when our children are more spiritually secure and mature than their adults. Most Catholics I know have no idea regarding their faith, leave after communion, wear their "faith" like a cultural badge, and basically don't know enough to have a good Christian conversation.

For those who know, I'm investigating the benefits in each branch of the Military. Yesterday, I participated in an online chat with an Air Force recruiter and was seriously disappointed with his lack of enthusiasm for his branch, and drive to "sell" it to me.
I'm a College Grad with interest in intelligence, strategy, military history or PERHAPS pilot/nav. positions. My father is retired Army (Col.) and helping me a bit, but would appreciated any informed suggestions.
Thanks!

So I'm 19 and my boyfriend is 25. I'm a sophomore in college and he is salaried and independent.

I've been with him for almost a year now. And while I've been making plans for a master's degree program after college, he is making plans about where we will have our wedding....

He is truly the sweetest person, and treats better than anyone I've ever been with, and I really care about him. But is it wrong for me to feel a little awkward when he's ALWAYS discussing marriage? And not only that, he sort of treats me like I'm already married to him--I don't go out with my friends hardly at all anymore, because he says that married people have only one priority--their spouse. And he's always worried that I might meet another guy when I'm out anywhere, even the mall. Don't get me wrong, I am definitely committed and loyal, but I feel like marriage just seems so soon. He plans to marry me when I'm 21.

Is there anything I can do or say that wouldn't be hurtful to fix this?
