My coworkers make it their business to include themselves in work related and non work related conversations from across the room. I was told that this was a "cultural" difference that I need to basically accept. So to prove a point, I immulated this by doing the same thing back to them. Instead of getting the point they felt we had reached a common ground. So when they READ that this was a issue that I had - - their response was that "I DO THE SAME THING". So to test this theory they purposely threw out information talking loudly requesting the spelling of a word without formally addressing me. So NOT BITING I laughed at the situation... I IMMULATE EVERYTHING THAT HAS BEEN DONE TO ME, INCLUDING MAKING INTENTIONAL PAINFUL STATEMENTS TOWARDS SOMEONE & THEN FALSELY APPOLOGIZING FOR IT - - STATING THAT IT WAS NOT MY INTENT... BOO BOO FAR FROM BIPOLAR, I'M A CERTIFIED BULLSHITER!!! :)

Sounds like a bunch of wackjobs - my advice? Mind your own business at work and save the friendly gossiping for your real friends so you are able to comfortably be yourself.

No, I've only noticed odor on certain individuals. Sorry if this sounds politically correct to you, but it's the honest truth. Actually, I usually don't even notice a distinct smell on people at all. Perhaps this smell that you are thinking of is just some kind of perfume, or product that people living in your area frequently use? It also depends on the individuals health/diet and environment, which depending on your location, could play a large part in it.

There are nosy people in every culture. One thing that does vary between cultures is what topics are considered appropriate or taboo for conversation. For example, many Americans think it's inappropriate to ask about how much money a person makes, while in Thailand this is a common small-talk question.

WELL I GUESS IT'S BETTER TO BE PISSED OFF THAN TO BE PISSED ON... LOL

Make sure you ask them what their ethnicity is before they ask you.
