I'm travelling from North America to Delhi during end of July. I've booked a hotel in Connaught place due to reccommendations, but exactly what is Connaught place? Would it have salwars,saris,shoes and purses? Like the ones they sell for $100 in my country? Is it like a mall or an open market? Is it safe to shop? Any tips?

Travelling from North America to Delhi for the first time,staying in Connaught Place (recommended by friend), what are some nice shops to find saris,salwars, also handbags and shoes?

Also, the best places to eat, not necessarily expensive and FINE Cuisine, but a place to eat decent food for a moderate price...not looking for restauraunts in the hotels...thanks for the help

I am flying from Toronto to Edmonton for about 5 days with Air Canada. Should I buy travel insurance - medical and/or cancellation insurance? My nephew is going to Jamaica to perpose to his girlfriend, and he's the kind of guy who will just say " Gee i think I'll go to Janaica" I'm not sure if a passport to go there is necessary, and how long does it take to get one if you do?. I don't think he does either.

i researched and saw that i can bring my straightner into the plane but i have to have it in a 3 oz. container.
how am i supposed to fit my straightner into a 3 oz. container??
