Mackinaw City/ Mackinac Island off season?

I am traveling to Mackinaw City in November. As far as I can tell everything shuts down the last week in October. Is there anything I can do thats fun mid November? I am heartbroken that the Grand Hotel is closed. Any hints from natives?

The Island is an all season resort. There are still a lot of things to do but most revolve around snow sports. Try this web site for more info than I can give here.

It does sound like you are going to be kind of in between seasons. It will still be fun and you can always find a bar.
