Things to do in Denver?

Question

I am going to move to the Denver area, particularly in Aurora. What are some things to do there? The girlfriend and I need to get used to the city.

Also, does anyone wanna hang out sometime? I will be new to Denver, so I was wondering if I could get help.

This web site has all the answers about things to do in Denver, If you are moving from a lower altitude , take it slow untill you get use to the thinner air and drink plenty of water, it's very easy to get dehydrated here

Welcome to Denver! It's an amazing city! There are alot of great things to do here, so it really depends on what you like.

Downtown has scores of great restaurants, good shopping, fun bars/clubs depending on what you enjoy.

There are great museums too. Denver Art Museum, Nature and Science that is running a Titanic exhibit now through early January. There's the Molly Brown house in Capital Hill and other historic places. You have GREAT sports teams. It's always fun to go to some games, the Avs, Rockies, Nuggets, and of course, the Broncos. Plus, we have some good minor league sports too like lacrosse, soccer, and arena football.

There is Cherry Creek which is great for shopping and people watching. It's more a more upscale part of town, but it has fabulous restaurants and hangouts too.

Lots of places to golf and if you are outdoorsy, there are tons of places to hike that aren't that far away. Boulder is just about an hour from Aurora and that's a fun place to people watch, specifically on the Pearl Street Mall.
