If I have 2 days to fill in what would be my best plan of action to see the sights, will be based in London and recovering from a 24 hour flight first. Also what will the weather be like early September-much rain? Transfers from Heathrow to central London by mini bus-can they be booked on arrival or is it safer to book them over the net-due to arrive at 0630. I will have the day in London on my last day and a 10pm flight are there any shower facilities at the airport or a hotel like in Singapore where you can have a day room?

This is the nonsense I'm most confronted with, both by advocates of the politically correct idiocy involving the native American tribes here in the States, as well as the destructive idiocy involving the descendants of the violent savages that roamed the continent of Africa centuries ago; the notion that simply because they were there first, they somehow 'owned' the land.
Crap.
If white settlers had not arrived in America and Africa, both continents would still be savage, untamed, unutilised - with the indigenous tribes happy to kill one another and have their existences dictated by, and all natural phenomena explained by witchdoctors or medicine men.
There would be no medicine, no TV, no computers, no cities, no cars; none of the innovations of the Industrial Revolution.
In short, no civilization.
This stupid notion that blacks in Africa 'own' the land will have far more destructive consequences than that notion does here in the States.

I am an American married to a Canadian. We currently are living in the U.S. and got married about 7 months ago. I kept my last name and hyphenated my husband's last name on to mine. I already went downtown and changed my name on my social security card however the thing is I am moving to his hometown of Toronto (and unexpectedly) this month but did not get a chance to change (or add) my new last name on passport.

My question is, will that affect my flight from Honolulu to Toronto? Will I get questioned at the airport? I was thinking of simply changing my name when I got to Canada. Do you think airport security will pick up on my hyphenated last name. Should I just get my ticket and put my un-hyphenated last name on there so it matches my passport for now?

I'm pretty sure it's at the corner of rue Saint Honoré and rue Croix des Petits Champs, it's in the 1e arrondissement. It's multi-story, modern looking, and the external skin is kind of a metal scroll work. There was a French flag flying above it when saw it.

Hi,
A friend of mine, who is a UK resident but temporarily works in Nigeria, is travelling back to UK for few days. He has been told by the travel operator that he needs to show USD1500 as running expenditure at exit control before he can leave for UK. The travel operator says this is a goverment law and applies to everyone. Is this correct? Why would a UK national have to show any money to come back to their home?
Thanks and regards

Hello! I need to make a trip to San Francisco and am trying to decide between staying at Pacific Heights or Cow Hollow. Can you tell me which is the safer and quieter neighborhood? Thanks for your help.

Just watching the Airport program here and it seems that people who turn up late seem to think it's the fault of the airline and start to kick off or turn on the water works.

When the airline says be there 2 hours before and they turn up after the check-in has closed, should they be let on the flight?

I have mixed feelings about Ryanair who the pogramme is based around, i can't ever imagine flying with them because they sometimes seem to be awkward for the sake of it.
However, the staff do seem to have some right scumbags, drunks and really nasty people to deal with every day.

Personally i think they are bang right to stop people travelling when late when we have all the security problems we have, or the 'i know i'm wrong but going to kick off anyway' attutude of some customers.
