The best time to visit the Philippines is during Christmas season. Our relatives who are abroad would like to spend their Christmas here. We have a long Christmas. In the radios, songs can be heard as early as September. Officially, the Midnight mass starts on December 16 & ends on the 24th. The churches are well decorated. I had been in San Francisco last Christmas & how I missed the Philippines. In some churches, puto bumbong or the native delicacy can be bought after the mass which is better taken with hot tea. You should see the streets with lighted Christmas decorations & the hotels, department stores really at its best. Imus, Cavite is the Lantern or Christmas capital of the Philippines. Aside from the decorations, the malls has the best displays. Words cant express how the Philippines is during this season. You have to see by your naked eyes. The advantage is that there is traffic nearby the malls especially during the last minute shopping. However, since it is hard times now, i think traffic will be lesser compared to the previous years.
You should see our malls, there is SM or Shoemart Department stores all over the Philippines. The biggest is the Mall of Asia in Pasay City which is even bigger than the Mall of America, which is the biggest in the USA.
SUMMER is another time to visit the Philippines. Tourists from Europe, USA, Asia & all over the world stays here as a tourist or live here permanently. They love the sun, especially the Europeans.
Boracay & Palawan are famous for its beaches. Foreigners & local residents go to Palawan for scuba diving!
Intramuros, Manila is a place in Manila where you will see Spanish culture in the Philippines.

It has a tropical climate, so you can visit anytime of the year. January and February is the cooler month but different areas have different temperatures. Considering the Philippines has 7,100 islands, searching for a place to enjoy is endless. It is like summer the whole year, although it is hot and humid the month of May, there are lots of festivals that you will enjoy. Try visiting the town of Lucban in the Quezon Province (about 4 hours drive from the capital of Manila) on May 15 where they held the PAHIYAS festival. It is really amazing, where you can see the houses being decorated by colorful rice flakes. Why not try to go to the South where you can spend a weekend in the beautiful beach of Boracay. You see, it is endless. Visit the Tourism Office at the airport and get a brochure. Enjoy your stay in the Philippines. Mabuhay!!

you can visit the country anytime of the year. however, for a tropical country like the philippines, it would be best to visit during the summer months usually march-may (philippine beaches are the best!) or during the christmas season if you like!

Christmas is a nice time to visit, one reason is the different festive decorations and the overall feel of the country during xmas.
summer( march-june) is best for boracay, palawan, bohol and other spots. also in baguio.
but if you really wanna find out what is best you can view wow philippines websites and check out the events.
philippines is a great country to visit any time of the year. you just have to check out whats happening and where. There is a lways a festival or celebration somewhere, you just need to find out when and where.

Summer because there are a lot of people in the beautiful beaches. And summer start at the last week of March until first week of June. Christmas time is also a nice time to visit. =)

Anytime, depending on what you intend to do or intend to experience in our country. I suggest you visit my hometown, Borongan, E. Samar, in September to experience real waray hospitality. We celebrate the feast of the Virgin Mary's nativity in September 8 and the affair starts August 29 until Sept. 8. You can stay at the local hotel, room rate is only $16 per day and food is cheap. People are friendly too.
You can also visit during the christmas season. if you have filipino friends, they are just too willing to take you into their homes, just don't look for extraordinary amenities. no need to pay the rent, eat what they can offer you and they will be too willing to take you around.
Oh, not to forget the months of March until June. Enjoy the beaches, frolic in the sun ... I guarantee your enjoyment at lower cost.

Guess best time to visit my country would be during the summer. That's between March till April. The beaches then would be great. have fun

Christmas is the best time to visit. A lot of programs and shows in Manila like ABS CBN carnaval, Shows in greenhills and good shows in Enchanted Kingdom etc.

The weather is best in Feb/March. New Years is a lot of fun, they party hard, but a lot of business are closed Christmas to New Years.
