Hi,

I just got back from a vacation China. Shanghai was amazing city, the cheaper version of New York. Though, nightlife is a little dead in middle of the week, the city is sleeping (and not restless like NY for example).
Night life is maybe the only thing in china, all around china, which has western prices.
Anyway, the BEST places to go out are:

1) Zapata's - just tell the driver Hengshan - Dongpin Junction http://www.zapatas-shanghai.com lot of foreigners and Chinese women who come look for them (NOT hookers, regular nice & cute women). I like this club , pity it is only a memory now..

2) WINDOWS Too - Black Music R&B - tell the taxi - 1618 Nanjing Rd. (near the Plaza. ) .its the cheapest place in shanghai ,a club, with many foreigners (and alot of Chinese girl that come to look for them) - very good club.

besides these place there is another area not far from ``windows`` is a street called ``tongren lu`` but over there its different style , more like Thailand when many old foreign guys come to look for girls . if that's what you looking for you can check that area. The price by the way is also western price.
And of course the Baby face ,dkd , Pegasus , but that's you have also in Beijing so I don't think it worth a visit in Shanghai.

Hope it help, if you got any other questions don't hesitate to contact me.

Shanghai is a famous global area pulling more and more attention from all over the world; so see what that town provides with hotelbye . Shanghai is a favorite vacation location for visitors. In Shanghai you can see the marvelous Yu Garden (Yù Yuán), also called the Garden of Happiness. That Garden covers a location greater than 20,000 square meters and includes an outer and an inner garden. The oldest section could be the Outer Garden with more improvements being made in the 18th century when Sansui Tang, the park's main hall, was added. The newer and significantly smaller Inner Garden appointments from 1709 and involves features common of a established Chinese writer's Garden: beautiful small pavilions, ornamental rocks, and miniature pile stages, splitting surfaces and small lakes, and a good highly designed theatrical stage.

You can visit The Old City God's Temple, Yu Yuan Garden, Nanjing Lu, The Bund and The Oriental Pearl TV Tower . Besides you can eat out in Restaurant Martin , a restaurant known for its service and tasty food. I suggest you downloading an App on lvpad.com as your personal tourist guide. Then you can plan your trip on mobile phone. Enjoy your trip in Shanghai
