If you are financially able, have the time, and desire to travel why not? Life is a journey......travel broadens your mind and lets you experience things you never would if you just stay forever in one place. No telling who you will meet, and what you will see. I say go for it, and enjoy every minute of it. Make a memory to last forever.

It sounds from your question like you don't really want to go travelling at this moment in time, but feel you have to because the opportunity may not arise again.

If you feel confident enough to travel, I'd recommend it, but make sure you plan it well, and it might be a good idea to travel with some good friends, so you can look out for each other.

If you're not sure about it, who's to say you won't be able to do it in the future? It depends on your career plans, but ultimately if you really want to do it, you will.

Yes it is, but how do you know you won't be able to later. My husband and I travelled before and after our marriage, taking the 4 kids with us as we had them. The children fitted into our lifestyles, not the other way round. Now they are well travelled, independent people who now travel with their families. Travel now by all means, but travel where and when you can in the future too - travel is an education in itself.

If you have the time and the cash, there's no time like the present time! Especially if you have the time and money now, you may as well go because you never know what the future holds. If you don't do it now, you may regret it later. Of course, it depends if it's something you're really interested in doing. If people are pressuring you to go when it's not something you're overly interested in, then it's not that worth it. It's got to be something you love to do!

You don't really sound that excited by the prospect!
You may not appreciate the last places you go as you been away for so long.
And you can travel later - they're called holidays, and each one is like a jewel in the desolation of work.

First, since you ask this question, figure out what is possibly keeping you from wanting to go. you may decide that you would rather stay here and that's okay. on the other hand, travelling is wonderful. it's great to see how other people in other cultures live. don't go alone. i would think it's a much better idea for you to go with a good group of friends.

Yes just go for it. If you can do it now, don't keep putting it off, or something may stop you from doing it. Then if you don't get to go travelling for a year you may end up regretting it for the rest of your life.

I think it all depends on what you want to see, how much cash you have, whether you need to make it a working holiday some of the time and what kind of holidays suit you the best. Some people like backpacking and roughing it others need a bit more luxury as an antidote to their day to day stresses.

If you have the money and the time and the desire....go for it!! It will be the best thing you ever did! Do it now, in the future you may not have the time, the freedom or the money! It will be the best learning experience you ever had.
