The Turks originated in Central Asia but the Ottoman Empire encompassed regions of Europe and Africa as well as the Middle East. The Turkish people are an ethnic mix.
The land of Turkey is predominantly in Asia (Anatolia) but a small percentage is physically in Europe.
Culturally the Turks are a mix which varies according to the region - generally more European in the west of the country than in the east, although there are also different balances between large cities and rural areas, whether they be in the east or west of the country.

I am actually not Turkish, so my answer doesn't count as viable for this question, but it's pretty weird to compare Turkey to Russia in terms of connection to Europe and Asia. The Ottoman Empire clearly has Asian roots, it was an Asian empire that conquered major territories in Europe, whereas Russia is a typical European empire that conquered major territories on another continent. Similiarly, the British Empire remained European even though it covered every single continent on the Earth, whereas the Umayyad Caliphate didn't become European because it had a chunk of the Iberian peninsula.
I apologise for the intrusion once again, but I couldn't remain silent.

Thsi is a huge question, and that's in no way trouble-free to respond to. It relies upon on the way you define being an asian or eu. Turkish people has come from asia, in that experience they are asian. they have lived in europe for 6 centuries. they have been a substantial area of europe for 6 centuries. they have been a substantial area of eurpean historic past for 6 centuries and greater. In that experience, they are eu. yet once you define being eu as being christian, then they are easily not eu. do not forget that Rome, the empire constituting eu custom, has lived and died in a similar land because of the fact the turks did.

In Europe map, whole Turkey appears..But in Asia map it appears too..I'm not very curious about to be in Europe.Because they don't want us so we don't want them too.And Asia (Middle East) is too religious..We are not very religious and we don't wanted in Europe and some of Turkey's parts aren't comfortable as much as Europeans..So we're in the middle. We have our own culture and life style..We're happy for this..

Is that the "land" problem? Ottoman empire was on Africa, Asia, Europe (up to Vien)... but they were non of them. It is not about land.
Would you be a pure citizien when you are living in a residence or apartment or single house or in the streets?

They are what you call a "Eurasian" country. Like Russia--part of it is in Europe, and some of it is in Asia.
