According to the bible, god created Adam and Eve. They had two sons, Cain and Abel.....Cain killed Abel.....therefore Cain must have had sex with his mother to have children....therefore we are all inbreed. Furthermore if Cain didn't have sex with Eve to have children where did his wife come from? Thin air? Or did Eve bear a daughter and he married his own daughter..or do I have it all wrong and Adam and Eve had another child which was a daughter and Cain married and had children with his own sister?

To Ian Anderson, I have been a long time dedicated fan since the beginning of Jethro Tull. This is a personal spiritual question.Many of your lyrics speak of God and Christ often but I get confused on what your beliefs are.Are'nt you a true believer in what Jesus has done for us.I want to think so but the question still remains . I don't. I certainly don't think a loving God would ever allow one of his children to suffer eternally, even if they "chose" it.

I know many Christians don't believe in Hell either.

God hates people who try to build hihgh to reach heaven, so obviously God organized the terrorist attacks on the WTC - hey, if you believe that he did it to the Tower of Babel, you should have no problem believing this too. And if you don't believe this, then you can't possibly believe the Babel story either, thus your Bible is fiction by default.

So I'm agnostic/atheist and my little brother is like Super-Christian. I'm 16 and he's 13 and he's all brainwashed by his youth group and you get the point we don't need to get into that.

But every time we get into argument about Christianity, I shoot down everything he says and he always ends with,
"Well you're going to hell anyway so it doesn't matter."

Now I realize he's 13 and I really shouldn't care, but I just need a simple comeback that I can always use when he says that to me.

The appendix a vestigal organ? Ha!

It helps your immune system throughout the first couple of years and without it, you are vunerable to many diseases. Another thing just because you don't have to have it doesn't mean it isn't useful.

You can live without your arms, legs, eyes, toungue and ears. But it doesn't make them vestigal does it?

Jesus has called us to go forth and spread the message of love and hope and peace. Yet, there are many people confused and argumentitive in the world today. The sad thing is that they are calling themselves Christians. Why can we not simply do as the Bible instructs us to do. It is not our job to convert others to Christ. It is His job. And He is better at it than we will ever be. All we have to do is tell people of His goodness and mercy and grace. Not threaten them with burning in hell or beating them up with scripture after scripture. That only deepens the disdain for Christians and Christianity in general. If we walk the talk and talk the walk, then that is the example we need to set. Not how much of the Bible we know and can recite. Satan knows the Bible also.
Normally I don't ask many questions. But this is one that has been on my heart for some time now. Please do me a favor and try to keep the snide and rude and offensive comments to a minimum. Thanks.
