those are called 'gifts of the Spirit' and yes, you can receive these giftings... if you are born again and follow Christ as your Savior. you need to build your relationship with Him and study on the gifts that God gives... and be prepared because it is not lightly that God bestows these gifts

When I was a kid, I seriously believed in God. Around that time, my cat was sick. I prayed that God would make my kitty better. Instead, my cat got sicker and died. My devout grandmother's health has deteriorated significantly, despite how much she prays. Consider this: if there truly was a healing power of God, how do you explain all the health problems and suffering throughout the world? Edit: did you get pregnant? If you haven't, then it's silly to assume that you were healed in any way.

I don't know whether certain people have the power to heal or not...but I do know that God has that power.

god is a spirit, if you believe hard enough to heal yourself or to god then maybe you'll get healed, but thats up to you.
