Ok Lets say that you wrote a Letter with important information in it to someone who you wanted to have this information, now someone comes along and rewrites your letter and removes this most vital information you want to give to the person you wrothe your letter to and adds some other bits that are irrelevant to your message and do not put in the important bits of the message you want to convey to the person you wrote the letter to, would you think it was ok for this person who edited your letter to take away or add to your letter? The Word of God the Bible is the same it is a loving letter of instruction from God to people(all mankind), it is inspired by God it is a letter from God no-one has the right to take away any of his message, or to Add anything to God's message! That is the reason that adding or removing from the Book the Bible is a sin! Because both adding and removing would be distorting God's message!

The sin is trying to replace the word, change the word, or erase the word.

Copying it is not sin...in fact, it is encouraged.
