This question shall be the ultimate and final proof of either that God exists or else God does not exist. No middle road. So here it is, very simple: God shall reveal himself before this question closes - if God does give us a physical, tangible sign of his existence, we shall all believe forevermore without question. However, if by the time this question closes, we get no word from God, no tangible, physical sign, then we shall all agree that forevermore God does not, never did, and never will exist. Will you put your faith in God? I am the one tempting God- not you! Will your test your certainty in science? This is an unbiased controlled experiment. If you don't accept the challenge, then you obviously don't really believe. The rest is very simple - we wait for God to make his move.

Nope, no, I said no middle ground. Religion claims that God knows and sees all, so if he exists, he sees this question, and he will give proof to all believers of his existence.

Nope, no, I said no middle ground. Religion claims that God knows and sees all, so if he exists, he sees this question, and he will give proof of his existence. If God is all powerful, and all knowing, he will give proof. Thus if there is no proof, there is no God.

looks like God is too much of a coward to strike me down for blasphemy... I think God only punishes those who believe in him, and just ignores those who don't

I just realized something,
Did the authors of the bible put, "thou shalt not tempt thy lord", because they knew that he does not exist to be tempted?

Are you trying to say that we should make a scientific bet on God? I wonder, could the Big Bang occur before this question expires? Also, what kind of a difference would it make whether we 'decide' God's real or not? I mean, if he exists, we can believe or not - he will be, no mater what we say or think. And, if there is no God, then all of the people that lived in the past 5.000 years are seriously f*cked, and we're talking nonsense here. It's a good thing that you've showed up at this critical moment to resolve all our doubts.
Really, thank you.

The Lord does not need to do anything. The Bible says, "Good is to those that believe without seeing." But, we also see in the Bible that Elijah challenged the other people. He told them to bring a bull as a sacrifice, but not to light the fire. If their god lighted the fire, he was the true god, but if our God lighted the fire, He was the real God. It turned out that God lighted the fire. God works in mischievous ways. There was also another story in the Bible that said that a man once said that he was going to drop a coin, and if the coin was wet, but the rest of the land was dry, then that was a sign that He was going to be with them in battle. The next day, the sign was completed. He tested Him again. He said if the rest of the land was wet and the coin was dry, then he would know that the Lord was with him. Again, the sign came to pass. Here we see that the young man tested God, even though it said not to. We also see that when Jesus came, He broke many laws! Such as talking with the Samaritan woman, healing the sick on the Sabbath, and many others. There are no rules on God. This does not mean that He is doing wrong things. It means that God's plans works around the laws. I hope that the sign you are asking for be completed, and that God will reveal Himself to you and bring upon you conviction. God bless you.

Reminds me of an old movie, "God's Little Acre". One of the characters in the movie gave an acre of his land to God. He planted a wooden cross in the center of the acre. But when he decided that he needed that acre of land, he stuck the cross in the middle of a creek, and told God that that would be his new acre. He then asked God to strike him dead if that was unacceptable. Since God did not strike him dead, then it was ok.
Why, why did I get thumbs down, it was only a movie, I didn't make it up. Don't be so testy.

To me, All I have to do is look at how the Lord established the world and created such beautiful lands. Also, think of the things that aren't manmade..How did they all get here? Science isn't always 100% accurate. Other than that, you can just read and check out a Bible.

You are putting your eternal soul in great jeopardy with this line of questioning. God has proved His existence already and needs nothing from you or me to add to or take away from His wondrous works.
Have you not read, Thou shall not tempt the Lord thy God. Do you remember who the Lord said this to. He said it to one mightier than you. In comparison, you are nothing compared to Satan and yet God loves and cares so much for you.
I give you now the opportunity to remove this question from this venue and repent.><>

God does not have to prove himself to someone as arrogant as you. He does not take orders. On the other hand, he may strike you down for being so rude. that will be a sign to us all

And neither do I, nimrod, I have all the proof I need already.
