John 10-28-30 (Two gods)
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.
30 I and my Father are one. (Jesus + god= 2 gods)

John 17:21-22-23 (Fourteen gods)
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one. (God + Jesus + 12 disciples=14 gods)
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

Why is it that the catholic church doesn't allow priests to marry a woman, if christianity is pro-marriage between man and woman, shouldn't a priest be allowed to marry to help set an example?

I remember seeing one time on the news how the catholic church discovered that three priests had secretly married women. So first they had them lie on the ground as a form of humiliation, then they kicked them out of the church.

But whenever a priest molests a little boy, all the church does is move the priest to another church, keep quiet about and then the process repeats again and again. Why not kick the priest out of the church and send him to jail where he should be?

The church will protect a child molester, but they'll kick out a man for getting married. I just can't understand the reasoning behind all that.

I admit i dont know much about your religion, so i have a few questions....
If im not mistaken, you said that Jesus is the son of God and that he died to atone for the sins of man, my question is.... what is it that man did that was so sinfull that required Jesus to die?

Not promoting any religion/faith. I was raised Christian and everyone tells me I'm a decent and caring person. But it seems that everytime I want to be more connected spiritually with God, my life goes down hill and a never ending string of bad luck follows me. But when I just live my life without praying and being all spritual my life goes along just fine. I don't change my outlook and disposition to others but I seem to get different results when I try to be connected to God. I know some of you will say Satan or whatever is trying to lead me away from God. But I have literally prayed for years only to have one problem after another keep happening. I get tired of the bad luck and stop praying. Then everything becomes wonderful again. Just wondered if others have experienced this and what opinions you might have regarding this.

When it comes to Easter my wife and I most often always argue about how our little 4 year old must interpret Easter.

My wife feels that its a time for a joyfulness occasion where the spring brings a promise of new life and growth. A time of the year for happiness and joy.

I on the other hand find this whole pagan type rubbish and frightening. I therefore like to sit my child down with the bible and impose my belief system on it's tender mind. Stories and pictures of Jesus pinned to a cross with blood gushing down his head are the order of the day over the Easter period for my child.

If any tree hugging pagans want to defend my wife's disgusting view this time of the year then feel free. I will however pray for you all and these heathen attitudes.
Amen.

Wouldn't it have worked? Didn't they know how to crucify people back in those days? Couldn't they just have drowned Jesus instead. But then what would we ware on a chain around or neck? A little bottle of water maybe. Just think though baptism would have a whole new significance.

O LORD God of my salvation, I have cried day [and] night before thee:
Let my prayer come before thee: incline thine ear unto my cry;
For my soul is full of troubles: and my life draweth nigh unto the grave. I am counted with them that go down into the pit: I am as a man [that hath] no strength: Free among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave, whom thou rememberest no more: and they are cut off from thy hand. Thou hast laid me in the lowest pit, in darkness, in the deeps. Thy wrath lieth hard upon me, and thou hast afflicted [me] with all thy waves. Thou hast put away mine acquaintance far from me; thou hast made me an abomination unto them: [I am] shut up, and I cannot come forth.Mine eye mourneth by reason of affliction: LORD, I have called daily upon thee, I have stretched out my hands unto thee. Wilt thou shew wonders to the dead? shall the dead arise [and] praise thee? Shall thy lovingkindness be declared in the grave?thy faithfulness in destruction.

I always hear people rambling on and on about contradictions in the Bible. Please show me one. I've never found one. Most of the stuff people claim to be contradictions are just plain silly. They could easily be refuted by taking the scripture in its correct context or by using a concordance.

I am searching for 'real' guidance in this time of my life in how to develop my relationship with my soul andGOD.The feeling of needing communication w/ other's who are seeking similar or who have realized their soul's path or purpose is actually causing a 'ache' in my soul for months now. I want to somehow be certain it is TRUE guidance from my soul and God's voice I am after and not just my own selfish desires masked or clouded by myself trying to think or hope it is true soul searching coming from The Divine[God].Any one out there understand what i am trying to say and express? I truely would appreciate any one who may have some suggestions or know any one who is a trained spiritual director or coach who is true in their intentions to help other's with their soul's journy and purpose. Thanks!

If so, do you believe that God caused Hurricane Katrina?

If you answered yes to the first question but no to the second, what are you basing this on?
