It means I should have been there instead, paying my own death penalty for all the wrongs I have done.
It means joy, because God loved me so much that He was willing to send Jesus to die in my place.
It means victory, I can overcome Satan's attacks by the power of Jesus' Name.
It means freedom from guilt, from the fear of death, the slavery to sin, struggling to be good in my own strength.
It means a living relationship with God that I can enjoy every day.
It means I have a bright future ahead because of Jesus' gift of eternal life.

Two things.
One, I cannot buy bread today.
Two, at the last count I took, a dozen or so of my fellow countrymen have died in the last two days as a direct result of the Easter break.
I can live until tomorrow without bread.
Will those twelve, and probably more, be resurrected come Monday?
I think not.
It'd make an interesting 'proof' that your God exists, if they were returned to their corporeal existences in time to return to work on Tuesday.
But I don't see it happening.

Good Friday reminds me of the ATONEMENT of Christ, which in turn reminds me of the weightiness, burden and horror of sin; the need to repent and to beg God (who so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son) to include my sins with those Christ paid for with His life (for I have no merit of my own, am absolutely bankrupt). Good Friday is a solemn day; one we do well to spend in reverent reflection, meditation and contemplation of sin, God's holiness, God's love, the Cross and the Christ.
