So I'm agnostic/atheist and my little brother is like Super-Christian. I'm 16 and he's 13 and he's all brainwashed by his youth group and you get the point we don't need to get into that.

But every time we get into argument about Christianity, I shoot down everything he says and he always ends with,
"Well you're going to hell anyway so it doesn't matter."

Now I realize he's 13 and I really shouldn't care, but I just need a simple comeback that I can always use when he says that to me.

Thanks!

ALL yall need to examine yourselves....

Judge = to form an opinion or estimate.

Luke 12:5 states:
“I will show you whom you should be afraid of. Be afraid of the One who can kill the body and also has the power to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, be afraid of him.”

Job 36: 8-12
8 But if men are bound in chains, held fast by cords of affliction, 9 he tells them what they have done-- that they have sinned arrogantly. 10 He makes them listen to correction and commands them to repent of their evil. 11 If they obey and serve him, they will spend the rest of their days in prosperity and their years in contentment. 12 But if they do not listen, they will perish by the sword and die without knowledge.

Cord = any influence that binds or restrains.
Affliction = a state of misery, distress

Starting with verse 8, men are bound with chains and cords of misery, emotional or family problems, etc. In verse 9, the Lord has told or showed that person what he/she has committed….What did they commit? Sin. Sin is an offense against God. Verse 10 confirms that God speaks to everybody, and verse 11 says that, if the person listens to Him, that person will have joy and peace, and ultimately eternal life in heaven with God, while the last verse, verse 12, states that the people that don’t listen to Him, they will die because they didn’t want to know anything about Him, ultimately spending the rest of forever in hell.

The most well- known Bible verse, John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
……so, if whoever BELIEVES in him will NOT perish……what about the people that DO NOT BELIEVE in him? That’s about as simple as it’s gonna get.

Fact = reality, truth, something known to be true.

To judge a person would be to give your opinion of that person and the actions he/she executes. One’s opinion is not necessarily the truth. The Truth, however, in this situation is the Word, The Bible.

no, one would not be considered judging a person on saying that he/she is going to hell because that person does not believe in Christ as their Lord and Savior. Because it is a fact, that if you do not believe in Jesus, who was born of a virgin, who was WITHOUT sin, who died on the cross for our sins, and ROSE three days later; then yes you are going to hell.

Tell him that if god is real then why would he care about your personal beliefs. If he was so great he would judge you by more important things like your personality and your actions.

If you really want to own him, go look up the flying spaghetti monster. It satires religion really good.

Just say: "Doesn't it matter to you?" It might make him think a bit about his attitude. I don't think he has really thought through what going to hell means, to be able to say that so lightly. Also, although Jesus did talk about Hell, he didn't answer his critics with a remark like that!

I'd say "If you're a Christian you shouldn't be judging me. It says so in your Bible, why don't you go read it and learn how to act like this Jesus you say you love so much"
