Just because we don't know the use for something, that doesn't mean it's vestigal, does it?

Vestigial means it has lost all or a large part of it's original function, or has taken on a different function. The appendix is a vestige of the cecum - the organ which herbivorous ancestors used to digest cellulose. It no longer does this. Other carnivores have similarly diminished appendices.
The sad thing is that people were taken in by your ignorant lie anyway. Do you have the intellectual honesty / morality to admit you are wrong???

The appendix is vestigial. Vestigial means rudimentary. Is is a remnant of the cecum where cellulose was digested.
The appendix acquired a new function in the immune system. This is how evolution works. A new function is added to an existing structure through gradual changes. The intestines have immune system foci called Peyer's patches. These can serve all the gastrointestinal immune needs, as asymptomatic congenital absence of the appendix occurs in about one person in 100,000.

It is you who is ignorant about words in English language. You are using it even you do not know the meaning.
There is no such word as vestigal organs.
vestigial is the suppose word which means- no longer functional having become degenerate or functionless in the course of time. Like the vestigial muscles of the ear. or
vestige which means rudimentary body part organ or part of the body that is now rudimentary and no longer functions, but was formerly developed.
You are wrong in your comments. a very very wrong comments of words which is not a true word in English language yet a wrong explanation and yet wrong category. It is not supposed to be categorized in Religion and Spirituality.
You know how ignorant you are?ha?

You are totally (possibly wilfully) misunderstanding what "vestigial" means in the theory of evolution.
Contrary to creationist claptrap, evolution does NOT claim that "vestigial" organs (limbs etc.) are useless or without function. Many of them perform important or even vital functions.
What they don't do is perform the primary function that they originally did (like the appendix), or perform the function that it performs in other animals of similar species (like the tailbone).
Offhand I'd say that you are not the one to be commenting on the ignorance of others, in this case.

Just because it's possible to think up a use for something, that doesn't prove that it is part of an intelligent design.
If I set a Chinese phonebook by my front door, I could monitor it to check for flood damage in my apartment. A truly intelligent design though would have the phonebook in English so that I could actually use it for its intended purpose.
Humans have an organ called the plica semilunaris. I'm sure you can dream up a use for it, but that doesn't change that fact that it was originally our nictitating membrane and it just doesn't work any more.

I guess you are smarter then all those scientists who believe evolution to be a sound theory. Let me guess you don't believe in evolution because of your religion...... Did you know people believed the earth was flat because of their religion?
PS: I had my appendix removed.

I am a strong Christian, AND I believe in evolution. They are not mutually exclusive.
We see WHAT happened (life).
One theory (God) says WHY something happened, and WHO did it.
The other (evolution) say HOW it happened.
Science does not limit the WHO, nor does religion limit the HOW. They work together.

You know you're full of it.
Well, maybe you really don't know that. After all, you can't even spell the word.
