kills brain cells and damages the lungs...but so do cigs and alcohol. Heck, even BREATHING AIR kills brain cells. If you eat it, it is not nearly as bad for you. There was a study released last week that found tobacco and alcohol to be much worse on the body than mary j.
Those that say it is addictive have no idea what they are talking about. I smoked mary J and cigs every day for 3 years straight and then tried to quit both. I quit mary j no problem but I can't quit tobacco to save my life. It is the only illegal drug that has been proven to NOT be chemically addictive.

Twice a month is very safe usage, a little young so its not the best thing for a young growing mind but if you stick to twice a month i wouldn't say you need to stop because Marijuana is a very safe drug as long as you can control your smoking (don't become dependent on it) and your responsibly with it ( just basic common sense stuff - try not to drive while high and don't smoke like 10 bowls in one sitting that's just bad news bears). The worst thing about weed is its a gateway drug to more harmful drugs, so don't let that happen. If you get addicted to weed or any drugs stop, weed should only be a casual thing with friends, just like drinking. Its said but not proven that weed kills brian cells and shortens your lifespan. Through my experiences, it has opened my mind and i look at things differently. I honestly feel that i am a better person and i will enjoy my life more because of it. But everyone can experience marijuana differently. As long as your only smoking about once a week or so, weed might shorten your lifespan by a couple years. Eventually everyone's gonna die, if they smoke or not, so i would rather enjoy life and have fun with the time i have.

To answer your question, yes, definitely...The THC count in the bud is not likely very high unless you come from somewhere other than the US...This is a very touchy subject for it is used for medicinal purposes as well. Basically the long term side effects are various for it depends on how "potent" the cannibus or weed is...How long it has been smoked, how much is actually inhaled and held in the lungs..It affects the blood, brain cells and is like many drugs can be addicting to the point where you need more to feel the effect. The main concerns would be memory loss, killing brain cells, (you cannot get them back), and a habit that is terrible for the lungs, (you are burning them, just like cigarette smoke inhaled)....and no, cigarettes are NO better! I would be concerned if you start to feel chest pains, have memory loss, these sorts of things....

Depends on how long and how heavy it has been smoked. I know for sure that a Heavy Pot head will suffer from lack of sex drive and lack of ambition to work. Many pot heads from way back, now suffer from many things. As I would walk thru the Mental Hospitals and Nursing homes many , young men/women , would be placed there because of their inability to cope. If the constant smoking isn't there, they seem to be in-capable of even caring for themselves. They become severely depressed and just lay around. After long time smoking of weed, it leaves a residue , coating the entire brain. Thus we see these people , unable to do many things, including maintaining a job. Yes there are many side effects from long time smoking of Mary Jane.

hurts your lungs mostly some claim it causes apathy and mental deterioration but I don't think there is conclusive evidence of any large matter .the propagandist used to claim it would make you crazy and turn you into a homicidal maniac. I seriously don't believe there is a shred of evidence to support this notion. And I've never seen any first hand use by Friends to support that it diminishes ones sex drive but might be a blessing for some if only it were true. guess it just hurts lungs .they should have a pill form for medicial uses by now (that is affordable) .

Chronic bronchitis, as with tobacco.
The lung cancer connection is controversial - the jury is still out on that one.
Cannabis is definitely addictive, although probably less so than alcohol or tobacco, and most other illicit drugs.
Cannabis can precipitate psychosis, especially in people who have other risk factors for psychotic episodes. However, the most common psychiatric complications in heavy smokers are mood disorders such as major depression.
As with anything else you might enjoy, know the risks, and be moderate in your pursuit of pleasures.

Yes.
1/. Permanent brain damage and potential multiple personality disorders to name but a few; and,
2/. "Pot" smokers are four times more susceptible to lung cancer than cigarette smokers because of the way that the smoke is injested into the body.

Not really. It kills cancerous cells. Check out Americans for Safe Access if you want the studies and medical info. You'll find everything you need.
It actually does not kill brain cells, and it generates the growth of new ones actually. Check out that website I told you about- you'll find the studies I'm talking about.

If you do it most days, over a long period of time, you become demotivated and it does slow your brain down.
A little weed on special occasions probably doesn't hurt, as long as you don't do a lot of it, or don't do it on a regular basis.
