long story ,,,I was cut off by entire extended family for not doing everything they demanded and refused to be bullied.
have not heard from any of these people in 4 years.
one person out of the 14 of them, my cousins wife has called every labor day and thanksgiving, talking like she knows from nothing i got off, she dishes for information about me.

Obviously shes reporting back to them, shes verbally abused me in the past as well and talked behind my back.

Shes left 20 messages since september saying "im really thinking of u and miss you i love you call me"

I have not responded, she wont stop calling.
I know shes dying to find out my holiday plans so she can report it back to the extended family..

How do i deal with her and get her to leave me alone>?

car and house and is always super nice. No problem right? I feel like a complete loser compared. I work from home, rarely excersize because I am working, I always seem stressed out and always say yes to people so I never have time to myself. I don't take care of myself and I look like it. I guess I have low self esteem and I find myself saying the dumbest things to her....telling her everything and she shares little to nothing. She is very tight to the vest and is very concerned with being perfect. How can I raise myself up, get some dignity and be a confident person that is not intimidated by my neighbor?

My question is thus:
What are the 'rules' for pulling out chairs for ladies at fancy dinners? Should I just seat my girlfriend, or should I also seat her younger sister?
And would it be considered improper for me to help her mother as well?
P.S. This is for large, out of house, and family dinners.
Thank you

the b^tch deserved. this story is kinda long,
but oh wells.

I'm in senior year in highschool, and i wanted to have fun in camp that we were going to. Im not really a camp person. so my 3 friends r in one cabin, and then we have these 2 pathetic losers that no one likes. Don't get me wrong, we weren't completley mean to them, only like 88% of the time. One has like 50 FFUUCCCCIng zits in her face, and she has like such orange hair, and she smells bad and she's somewhat fat. The otherone has a talking problem, and she like is sooo annoying. She talks to herself.
Anyway, just to have fun, we had a party one night, and our other friends were at the other room across, so we partied at their room. It was like 4:08 in the morning, and we were supposed to be a sleep. We woke each other up, Except the nerds. and we partied. We had a couple drinks. Then the nerds woke up and decided to rat us out, after trying to scare us. They turned off the lights, and i don't know how the hell

This is OLD news that I just found out about. My wedding was 5 years ago. I visited on the phone with a cousin I haven't talked to in ages, who attended my wedding. She brought up our wedding, and told me something that had ticked her off. She said my husbands family was going around telling my family and friends things like, "She's a lucky girl!" (implying I don't deserve him?) and "He's quite a catch." (again...) and "You know, he WAS the most sought after bachelor in town." or "You know he is quite established." Wtf? Am I being overly sensitive here? Keep in mind, MY family was saying things like, "Don't they make a nice couple?" or "We love him like he is our own." or "He's so good with her kids." WHY did they feel the need to make sure my family knew I was getting a good deal? It just doesn't seem like proper etiquette to me. My cousin said it wasn't just what they said, it was the way they said it. It was as if they were implying he was too good for me or something. As if!

My friend and his son's mother are divorced . When his ex -- wife picks up the little boy at my friend's house, she asks him to look out the door for her . If he doesn't look out the door, she sits in her car and honks her horn . She's trying to avoid getting out of the car when the weather's cold . I say "That's why they make coats !" . The little boy doesn't think his mother should ring the doorbell in cold weather, he doesn't think looking out the window for his mother is too much too ask, and he doesn't think waiting in the car is bad manners . He says we're being unreasonable . NOW -- who's right ? IS waiting in the car bad manners ? Is there a book or a website that says it's bad manners to wait in the car in this situation ? Is there a way I can convince the little boy and his mother ?

This is a hypothetical situation . A teen -- age boy wants to pick up his girlfriend . He parks in her driveway and honks his horn . The girl's father refuses to let her leave until he rings the doorbell like a gentleman . The boy gets out of his car, goes up to the door, and rings the doorbell . He doesn't like it, but there's nothing he can do about it . NOW -- is it bad manners for the boy to sit in this car and honk his horn ?

if your boss has major athlete's foot and everyday that you enter the door to your workplace, you can smell the distinct stench right away.it makes your nose cringe and you can tell that the other co-workers are making disgusted faces, too, but are trying really hard not to make those disgruntled facial expressions whenever the boss is around.they pretend everything is normal, when in reality, the gruesome smell reeks and seems to leave a trail of rotten moldy cheese and something else, around the entire building! do you tell the boss or continue to ignore it? do you think tellling the boss will leave a bad impression on you and might deter your chances of getting that promotion because you offended the boss? despite the possible negative response from the boss, would you still "stick it to the man!?" if so, how exactly would you tell him/her? in what specific words? ;)

I wait tables at one of only two bars in our small town. There are guys in town working on the pipeline that come in on weekends and proceed to get really drunk. One of them came in, ran up 134.00 tab, got all handsy and grabby with us girls, and left a 1.00 tip. this is just a part time gig i have on the side, so I really don't care if I lose my job...what can I do to make him understand that he's a complete jerk? He usually comes in on Sunday when he's sober and is very nice. Any suggestions will be welcomed. (p.s. our managers are wussies and won't say anything to him)

I have a candy bowl (not a dish a bowl) that is rather large. I have been filling this bowl up once a week because by the end of the week all my candy is gone.

Now, I am buying good candy (dark chocolates, kisses, reeces all the good stuff) and its costing me like $7 per week. I started paying attention to who comes to eat my candy and its only a handful of people.

But this one lady comes like 4 times a day. Everytime she gets up from her desk she grabs two pieces. To me that is not proper etiquette. I am not a vending machine and can't afford to pay for her to eat chocolate all day. I barely eat any.

Should I get rid of the candy bowl?
Put out a dish for donations?
Put up a sign saying something like, " Each piece is 1000 calories, Eat sparingly"?
Or do nothing?

Sincerely,

Willie Wonka

I just have an honest question. My name is Ed and I am a 36 year old guy. I don't do anything more than look but why is it frowned upon when I guy checks out a pretty girls assets such as legs, chest, and butt. I mean it isn't a crime to look nor is it unnatural. I went to the mall and I saw a lot of pretty slim women with short skirts on and had nice legs. I was looking because they looked hot. I went to a high school football game and was watching the girls flip and do cheers and was looking at their legs and butt. Whats wrong? I am a guy. My friend Dominic thinks I am a pervert and my sister Erin does to. Am I? Whats so bad about it? I like girls legs and butts!!
