I just have an honest question. My name is Ed and I am a 36 year old guy. I don't do anything more than look but why is it frowned upon when I guy checks out a pretty girls assets such as legs, chest, and butt. I mean it isn't a crime to look nor is it unnatural. I went to the mall and I saw a lot of pretty slim women with short skirts on and had nice legs. I was looking because they looked hot. I went to a high school football game and was watching the girls flip and do cheers and was looking at their legs and butt. Whats wrong? I am a guy. My friend Dominic thinks I am a pervert and my sister Erin does to. Am I? Whats so bad about it? I like girls legs and butts!!

Just be discreet and keep the drool to a minimum :-). A quick check should be all you need -- if your eyes linger too long on any particular part (otherwise known as "staring"), it becomes obvious. Learn to keep your eyes moving :-)

OK, you stated in your additional details that you are a 36-year-old man who likes to look at HIGH SCHOOL CHEERLEADERS and you see nothing wrong with that?!? Seriously, you might want to think about growing up and developing tact. The only males that should be staring teenage girls and nice-looking women down are immature high school boys who don't know any better.
No, it's not a crime to like such things and to admire women's bodies, but you come off as one of those guys who stares at them with that look that says "Ooh, if I could have that..." and that's absolutely disgusting and extremely rude. Period. ESPECIALLY if you're looking at teenage girls like that! You need help.

Just the mere fact that your name is Ed automatically makes you a pervert...

Really though, there's a difference between glancing at nice looking women and being discreete about it, and then staring them down like a hungry lion looking at raw meat. That is just freaking creepy and gross. Not to mention a 36 year old guy staring down little high school cheerleaders is a creepy thing, period. I don't care what the "biological" aspect of it all says......adult men shouldn't stare at young girls like that. Stick to the women in their 20s and 30s dude.......
You are right, you're just a guy....but why do you reduce yourself completely down to that of a horny peeping tom??? All men appreciate beautiful women.....but not all of them are in public drooling and grunting and walking around with erections....have some self control.

It depends on how you are looking and what you are focusing on (not to mention the age of the girls you are looking at!). You can give a woman a subtle once over without her being offended or even noticing. Of course, if you are staring at her boobs with your mouth hanging opened, that's another story!! Women know how they are dressing and know what kind of attention they will get. Look, but just be cool. There isn't anything perverted about that.

Nothing wrong in looking, you should keep your comments to yourself around the people who think it's bad. I am a chick, married for 17 years, that still enjoys looking at a man with nice, not to muscular, legs. The preacher married us, he didn't poke our eyes out. God went to all the trouble of making beauty, we should enjoy it, I know that there are ways to alter the way we look, but you get the point. By the by, you are a guy, it's in-bread for you to look at what's being shown. I would worry if you didn't look. So, Look all you want, just watch your comments you make around Dominic and your sis.

There is nothing wrong with attraction. There can be a lot wrong with how you present that attraction. Rubbernecking cat calling are acts of douche bag and a pervert. If you are noticing these women and not making them or anyone around you uncomfortable by the way you notice them, (and you have good intentions only) then there is nothing wrong with it. There is a big difference between noticing beauty and gawking at it.

The way you look at them.
Also, if you look at young women, for example you're 36 - If the woman was 18-30. She will just think of you as a perv for checking her out, also don't drool, have a quick look then carry on shopping or whatever you are doing.
Always look away when they see you looking.

Well you can look, just don't stare, that's rude, and why not look at the face too? I do advise not checking out the high school games though. Go to a college game, some of those cheerleaders are half your age.

It's not "wrong" to check out someone, but it's the way you do it that can be considered perverted. If you are oogling them, and staring like a creeper, than yeah that's umcomfortale and rude. And if you are makingit obvious, esp if you are staring at their butt/breasts, then I also think that's rude. Take a glance, but don't be gross about it.

Boy, don't we all. I can understand the highschool football game. They're all underage.... but c'mon! If a girl wears that kind of clothing, she's asking for it! I may be half your age, but I would say there is nothing wrong with it. They want attention, right? It's not your fault it just so happens to be 36 year old attention.
