The best comeback I ever heard was from Winston Churchill. He was at a do, and some battleaxe came up to him and said "sir, you're drunk" he replied "madam, you are ugly, but in the morning I will be sober!"
Quality.

comebacks for WHAT?

You give no idea of what situation(s) you want comebacks for.

Personally, if you are looking for the proper etiquette (afterall, this IS the etiquette section), comebacks are a touchy issue. Nasty comebacks, although tempting, are never desirable. However, etiquette can give some pretty smart comebacks... but again... we need to know something about the situation!

Have a polite day.
