Hello everybody. Just to clear things up a little bit, I am from N. Jerz. Where I liveD the water was free. Anyway, I LOOOOOOOOOOVE showers. I love the way the hot water hits me and the way I feel so fresh and clean afterwards. But what I don´t understand, is why some, just some ´more well-off´ people (rich people) smell bad. For what reason should you smell bad when you can afford the hot water? Water is pretty much free, and it´s not that expensive using it for showers. It´s not like you are showering with cream, or chaaaaaaaampan. And soap, it´s not the 1860´s anymore viking or pirrrrrate, a bar of Dial does NOT cost that much. So what I am saying is to all the smelly & ripe & funky rich people (regardless over whether they are conservatives or liberals...you guys know who you are) is WHY don´tcha take a shower??? We all know you can afford it. What´s so wrong about a little bit of water??? Opinions please...

I work in an office with 5 people and the boss brings doughnuts every day for breakfast. I saw on the doughnut store's website that each doughnut has 8 grams of trans fat. Yeah, that is a lot of trans fat (nutritionists recommend no more than 2 grams of trans fat per day and some say that you shouldn't eat any trans fat). Anyway, I don't feel like eating heart attack on a plate. What should I say if the boss asks me why I don't eat the doughnuts? He's the kind of guy that will ask such a question.

Most of us are only concerned with our personal hygiene. We are not bothered about keeping our surroundings clean. If each houseowners bother to keep the place around his house neat and tidy, things will look different. Instead we dump wastes in our streets. We have to learn a lot from other countries on how they keep their surroundings clean and tidy. We build beautiful buildings. There ends everything. Cobwebs, dust etc. are there in most of these buildings. Betal spitting is another cancer largely influenced our society. We can find spit marks almost everywhere. Most of our Government Employees does not bother to clean their own working table which is normally covered with full of files and dust. Habit is natural. It cannot be taught. Celanliness should be one's own priority. Unless we change our mind and attitude, things will continue like this.

I was leaving this community college yesterday after visiting some friends, and we were walking out together, and they still had somethings up from Black History Month, and I go " I think they can take that down, February is over"

They all look at me and they go "the black information guy was back there" (the person whom sits at the information desk).

*i dunno if it was my tone or something...i was joking about it...i would have said something if they had something up that was out dated for something else...like something for elections and it was past elections*
*note i didn't say this loudly...just to my friends*

In the last couple weeks I have been in a few instances where I have had to speak up... one time I was in line for a computer at my university lab and when my turn came this other girl walked really fast for it and i went behind her and when she sat down i told her "excuse me i was next" and she said okay fine you go then and rolled her eyes. Another time at walgreens i was next in line and when the second lane opened and the guy said i can help someone the people behind me tried to run over but again i had to say i was next... and tonight at boston market they took the order of this guy in front of me and then asked the lady behind me what she wanted. I wasn't with the guy before me but he only ordered one meal so they would have had to ask me anyway... and when i said "excuse me i was next" they both gave me a dirty look and the woman behind me in line acted all galiant by letting me go first. I walked in the door way before her and was standing in line a long time before her too.

I am in bit of a dilemma-I need advice One of my close friend's sister (who I am friends with but I wouldn't call her my best friend) is getting married and asked me to be in her wedding, I accepted, everything has been great until now, the bridal party got together and set a date for the shower. two weeks later I found out that I have a family member that is graduating from law school and it is on the same day as the shower. I mentioned it to my "close friend" and I didn't even get the whole statement out and she said "your commitment is to the wedding and I don't want to hear anything different"
Well I felt that was kind of harsh since I just basically brought it up in conversation and I know it's her sister's wedding and she wants the best for her so I kinda shook that comment off. 30 min later I get a text saying that I needed to tell her whether I was going to be a part of the shower by that night. I told her nothing was going to change because I was still contributing to the shower and I did not want the date changed... that I just needed some time to think about my dilemma. well the next day I called my relative and told her my dilemma, she offered to move her party until later in the day so I could attend both. I called my friend back up and she was basically stand-offish and rude towards me.
ok so fast-forward to now.... my "close friend" has told me that she does not want me in the wedding anymore because I seem like I have no interest and that I have totally hurt her feelings. I called her sister and she told me that I was still in the wedding and she wants me to be but if it is too hard for me to stand up because of my "close friend" that she understands
MY QUESTION TO YOU ALL:::
Do I back down because clearly this "not so close friend of mine" is going to make this process a living hell for me (by the way she is the maid-of-honor) or do I suck it up and not care about what she thinks and be there for her sister's special day...

on the nyc subway today, i noticed that when the conductor announced an unscheduled change, everyone responded- including people wearing headphones, which would assumedly keep them from hearing the announcement. do people just wear headphones without playing music to keep people from bothering them on the subway? I know I do, and i've often wondered if i'm the only one...

There's an international student at my college who is from Kenya. We've only known each other maybe a month and a half but he seems to think I am his best friend. I got the feeling that he has a crush on me but left it alone as I have no interest in him as more than an acquaintance. Well, today he asks me to help him with a problem and I say sure and he asks me to have a "fake marriage" with him so that he can get his green card.
Well, I wanted to tell him to shove it but took the high road and calmly told this guy that I don't want to get married to him and it's really weird and inappropriate for him to ask me such a thing. He claims all innocence and says he doesnt mean it "in a bad way" and that it's just helping someone in need.

At this point I dont want to even see this guy again because its just too bizarre but we take the same bus home so I can't really avoid him. How can I gently break it to him that I think he's a freak and I don't want to talk to him anymore?

I was dating this girl for a little over a year, but she had a big problem with talking too loud.

Now, ordinarily, I'd just accept this as the kind of person she is, but it was REALLY embarassing for both of us. Take this one time for example:

I was visiting her at her college and we were swimming at the pool (it was a large, outdoor pool and had quite a few kids with there parents.) Well, we're relaxing in the water and she swims infront of the pool's water jet. She presses her privates against it and then shouts: "Wow! I can feel that right agiainst my clit!" More than one parent turned their heads and gave us a REAL dirty look.

I politely asked her afterwards to consider her volume when she speaks. She then got really defensive told me not to change her. She even said I was 'pushy.' That hurt. :(

Was I being too pushy, or does this girl have a problem?

I just realized that there is a "Homework Help" section on Yahoo Answers. http://answers.yahoo.com/dir/;_ylt=AnFgvolnbDivmEbacIljTg_LxQt.?link=list&sid=396545134 Kids can just post questions on there all day long without doing their own homework. Must be nice to be a kid these days huh. What do you think about it?

In these past few years I have realized that jeans are shorter and shorter and every day i see girls with their panties hanging out or their butt cracks showing, and they are always pulling their jeans up I mean it almost becomes a ritual for girls to get the back of their pants and pulling them up, but then I see girls wearing skirts too and most of them are always wearing shorts underneath. To me i just don't see girls being confortable with either

I don't pay for anyone on the first date except myself

I expect to have sex before the first date.

I do not feel it is my job as a man to cater to any woman.

If I am cheap for just paying for myself than what is she for not paying for herself, and wanting me to pay for her.

You don't ever have to put out. The same thing for my wallet.

No woman should fine any of this as a form of disrespect.

Damn need I say more.
