A favorite club of mine has been shut down because of drug charges (drugs being sold out of the club). Undercover cops repeatedly bought cocaine and ecstassy from a manager and one of the employees during a four month investigation. So they finally had enough evidence to shut them down. My question is what about the other employees who had nothing to do with it. Will they be fired? The club has a sign up that says closed for rennovations, look for the grand opening. What I want to know is will they closed the club for good or will they do a complete restaff?, I have a hook up there, with one of the bartenders on my drinks and I dont want to lose that.

The easy answer is - no way, they all stink. Yet not all smokers are total losers.

If Arnold Schwarzenegger or Bill Clinton or Barack Obama came to my door I would probably let them in, counting on them to step outside if they want to light up. So maybe I would hold my nose and cut them some slack.

But most people smoke cigarettes, which stink worse than cigars, and the dirty odor clings to their clothes, their bodies, their hair, and their breath. So they would be told to leave.

The foulest smelling cigarettes are IMHO the menthol ones, and no way would I tolerate a Salem junkie around my property.

What's your position?

I was listening to the NAACP Awards the other night and people who should know better were doing this. eg: Bernie Mac dropped the S from more then one of the words he used even the proper name Williams and said "Henry William"
I am sure Mr Cosby must have crindged in his seat.

I met this female and we went on a date. I notice from the beginning this smell that made my eyes water and my nose burn. She is into me but this is not good. She then wanted to get close and hug and kiss. I was sick for days. I can still smell her in my car. A) how do I or should I tell her. B) How in the Heck do I get that smell out of my car, Febreeze didn't work. C) How does one wash out the inside of their nose, I can still smell her?

If they live out of state, and you know they can't come, do you still send them an invitation? I don't want anyone's feelings to be hurt by not receiving an invitation, but I also don't want them to think I expect them to travel just for a shower. How do you handle this?

This week I am having another soiree and said I would serve snails in a little garlic butter. Unfortunately the snails are off, but there are a few slugs sauntering round the green house. Could i use these and put them in old snail shells? Do you think I can get away with it after all they are both molluscs?

I was reading a book in my living room and listening to music; so, I did not hear the neighbor girl walk in and check out what was in my refrigerator.

She found my stash of leftover chicken with the adjika I put on it. Either because of my cooking or because she was not accustomed to this dish, she began to vomit all over my kitchen sink and screaming for me to come in there to "help."

I told her that I hope she feels better and that I am sorry that my food made her ill, and then I diplomatically told her to go away and leave my food alone next time. Now I feel bad for saying it, but should I? She snuck in there and took my food though, and I had to microwave Jell-O snack packs for dinner that night instead of having my nice chicken with adjika.

(And don't tell me to lock my door; I usually do for this very reason, but I forgot this time...)

I gave a pretty nice gift and card for her shower, and I'm visiting them in the hospital today. Is it customary to bring a gift or card, or just come as you are? To be honest, I have a lot of stuff to do today, and don't really want to have to deal with finding something to bring.

I went to the laundromat to wash my clothes & one of the employees almost didn't let me get any quarters to wash clothes, & then, she finally let me get the quarters & she started asking me personal questions & observing every movement I made, & then, she asked me, "Can I have $3.25 to get me a 2-piece dinner from the Chinese food place because this is my 1st week here, & my husband is supposed to be giving me some money & I'll pay you back Sunday."

Me, personally, I have problems with assertiveness & standing up for myself, & saying NO because in the past, I've been assertive with situations with people asking me for money & I almost lost my whole mouth full of teeth, & I don't want to lose my teeth.

Heck my friend is paid a minimum wage and the only hope he has of paying rent is the tips. Some weeks he has to trim the lawn and wash cars to make ends meet. The owner has made clear "the money is in the tips, so be good." He has been a good boy as far as I know and does not spit in the food or stick boogers in entrees like he did at the other place. Still there are some cheapskates that come regularly and wont tip a percentage but just leave the loose change, which is peanuts. So this being a high class restaurant he has refrained from leaving his DNA in other peoples food but has started lacing the main course of bad tippers with a super dose of the fast acting laxatives. The patrons now have to routinely rush for the toilets before they grab their wallets. I told my friend to stop since I am the hygiene inspector and cant bear to witness the mess in the restroom at times. The other day I had five patrons playing musical chair in two stalls. How can I resolve the situation?

One of my neghbours proved himsel to be not only grumpy but possibly slightly unhinged when he vandalised the trim around my front door at 3am because he didn't like it! I know it was him because i heard him! When i confronted him about it he lied and swore that someone else must be trying to frame him! How do you deal with someone like that?
