Is it more proper to walk in front of people in theaters butt or crotch facing towards them?

Since it's an etiquette question, it's about facing people and you should face them. Usually there's little room between rows of chairs and it helps it they stand up while you pass. And that's what etiquette requires to do.

I think butt is better. When you crotch they still can't see you and your taking up more room. Ans you think to yourself, "do they actually think that they are making a difference?" When someone uses thier butt and walks normally they tend to walk a lot faster than doing the crtoch walk.
