Practice makes perfect! You'll never know until you try. If he really cares about you, he'll understand! Don't go into nervous, go into it EXCITED! Seconds after you start kissing, you'll just follow each others tongues and get into what you're doing.

How old are you anyway? For a first kiss, a gentle, thoughtful touch of your lips will be FINE. You will get more comfortable kissing after you do it a few times. Remember that you don't need to use your tongue or kiss for long minutes trying to set a time record or anything like that--which is a childish thing to do.
Do what YOU want to, and what you are comfortable with. Your boyfriend should respect you for that, and if he does NOT respect you, find another boyfriend that DOES care how you feel.

You could try just being honest and telling your boyfriend that you have never kissed anyone before, that way if it turns out that you do um......need practice.......he will know that there's a reason for it and he won't wind up thinking that you are just a horrible kisser.
