what is in my heart I am not able to express, I am not able to tell any1 nor even able to figure out what is in my heart. I am confused about this thing... I have a friend before she joined her college she used to have only 1 friend and that was me and after she joined college she got some friends. She often talks to me abt her new friends and the friends she likes.
I dont feel jealous but I feel like she cares no more for me. I dont mind her making new friends she has a right to make but some where I am not liking it. I feel like I am no more important to her and I am just like a friend among her friends. I mean I used to feel before that I am her only friend and it used to make me feel good.
I dont know what to do. I feel like she will forget me n I gave her hints that of she forgets me she will miss me. What should I do, dont tell me to talk to her, I just cant do that but u can give me hints to give her. please please help!!!

I've got a co-worker that I sometimes work closely with, he always feel the need to whisper and his breath smells like he brushes with shi*! I find myself holding my breath when he talks to me. The killing part is when he asks me to show him how to do something on his computer, maybe its me, as we are looking at the computer screen and he's talking, his breath seems to bounce off the screen and slap me right across the nose. And I look funny trying to hold in my breath for a long period of time and almost scared to breath in through my nose.
I am not a rude person but I always come to his desk with some kind of breathmint, gum, tick tac or something and offer one but he ALWAYS refuses. What is a sistah to do?

If you see an ambulance outside your neighbour's (elderly couple living on their own) house across the street, would your neighbour think that you are being nosey or being neighbourly if you go over later in the day to find out if everything is OK?

When can you tell someone is just interested in your life verses when someone is nosey?
I dont have a major yet, so my mom gets upset when someone asks about my major or what I'm doing.
One day a lady I barely see comes us to me says hello, and then immediatly starts asking what year I am in school and what my major is and all that stuff. I feel stupid just answering the questions but really, she was the sweet older lady type. Can't just be rude.

Jeez...whats the deal with people being afraid to talk about stuff?
eh?

Since I started working an office job about four months ago, I am constantly pressured by my female co-workers to attend and/or throw my own make-up, kitchen product, basket, food, blah blah blah parties. I have NO interest in this stuff, I'm only 22!! I feel like they keep trying to guilt me into going and spending my money. How can I explain to them that I am not now nor will I ever want to go to a party where we try on mud masks or talk about baskets- without hurting thier feelings?

I know farts generally stink, but sneezes carry vile germs and bacteria, so why are you damned for one and blessed for the other? I've had people get pretty upset over some passed gas, but are the first to say "bless you!" when you sneeze near them. Does that make sense?

My husband and I just found out that someone gave us a large sum of money for a wedding gift. We haven't been together long, but Im pregnant, and his uncle apparently sent a check to his father telling him that it was for us to start out our life. How do I thank him, I mean, I've got to do more than a thank you note... but I'm clueless. I've never seen a family like his before, and it makes me kinda feel awkward. So what do I do?

Ok, first off, I KNOW she's anorexic because I have family members with the disease. She fits the profile.

I also know that odd eating habbits accompany the disease.

Every day at lunch, she makes herself a feast of her "special foods" which she eats ONLY with silverware, on stoneware, not the tupperware normal people take to work.
This smells up the whole section, and I have to hear her clinking her silverware for about 50 minutes - no exageration. I know what she's doing, she's eating it one molecule at a time, as is the habit of some anorexics.

The whole deal is annoying for a few reasons: Beside the clinking and smell, it is a daily reminder of the addiction experienced in my own family.

How do I deal with this. I just want to scream "GET HELP!"

I'll be graduating in 3 months, so I'm pretty sure they gave me the raise to get me to stick around after I graduate. $20/hour isn't exactly what I want to end up at, but it's not bad for someone who is still in college.

My question is, am I supposed to thank the owner for the raise? If so, what do I say? By thanking him am I indicating that I plan on staying there after graduation, because I'm not sure I want to. I really want to try to get into MIT.

after they sneeze? I'm not christian and feel uncomfortable blessing anyone. Why does anything need to be said other than 'excuse me'? At the same time, I don't get offended when people do bless me after a sneeze even though I don't want to be blessed.

I don't have any tooth plaque and not a single cavity. My body also smells so great. Problem is I rarely brush my teeth and shower. Yet I have pearly white teeth and still smell so good. I also have a rock hard body when I don't work out. And my perfect face is also so smooth. Is this crazy or not?

Here's a video of me by the way:

Doing so seems to get thumbs down a lot more often than I'd expect, no matter how obvious it is that the person asking is full of it.

I think there's a place for fun on here, but I also think there're a lot of serious questions getting serious answers, so am inclined to say "Look, don't waste your time and mine" on the BS ones. I am also thoroughly appreciative of the people who read posters' other questions a bit when something looks suspicious, and point out when we're having our legs pulled.

This one:

gave me a smile; it's sort of cute that a girl would fantasize about being a "proscuting" attorney married to a "frensic" scientist. (Perhaps somebody watches a lot of soap operas, I thought.)

But is it rude to call people out on lies here?

There's this guy that I occasionally walk past on my way to work. A good friend of mine used to work with him, and a while back, in a nightclub with this friend, this guy was there and my friend introduced us and we said hello. I commented that I walk past him sometimes on my way to work. Anyway, since that night I've walk past him probably 3 or 4 times - the first 3 times he looked, smiled and said hello in a really friendly way as did I, but the last time I was about to walk past him I smiled, he looked away and completely ignored me with his nose in the air!! I felt so silly! He definitely saw me, we were 3 feet away from each other! I don't even fancy the bloke, I just can't understand the way some people behave!! Maybe I'm too sensitive.....??!!

If you can't answer another person's honest question with at least some respect, why bother? I don't understand unprovoked cruelty based on a differing opinion. Granted, some folks ask some really retarded things on here, or pose questions just to create such an effect. However, for the most part I see people asking honest questions and getting jeered at for having **gasp** a view point. For example, politics is always a heated issue. You've got folks out there slamming military wives for feeling like they are fighting a war as well without their husbands. You've got democrats insulting republicans without a clear reason as to why such a backlash is necessary. You've got bush insulters, Republicans insulting Liberals and Dems alike. All of it is a little pointless. Honestly, what hope do you have of impacting anyone's point of view making an *** of yourself? I think you get more flies with honey, don't you?
