How much are you supposed to tip?

The otherday we went to m&s in eastbourne,and my 8yr old daughter held the door open about 8 adults walked through the door not one said thankyou,im 32 and these people must have been in there forties,where's your manners gone?????,i would have liked to have turned around and told my daughter to slam the door in there faces next time,but being the good parent i will keep my mouth shut.
Is it me or are peolpe really forgetting there manners???????

if i give a gift of a massage gift certificate is the person im giving it to supposed to give a tip ? i cant imagine getting a 100 dollar gift certificate for a massage and then be expectied to give a 10 or 15 dollar tip this no longer makes it a gift. especially for a person who would never afford such a luxory.

If someone has moved into a new apartment above you and they decide to renovate... (they start really late in the day...around 3pm and then they continue untill about 2 am..).. and then i say something to them about it would i be concidered a *****.
..cause i said something and i asked if they were planning to work untill 2 am..and they said yes.....I have to live with these people above me and my daughter is due soon.I just dont think it is right to have them working untill 2 am....i can handle untill 11pm but not 2..

as an example i used the words shirt lifter the other day in work and my boss pulled me to one side and said you cant say that.i questioned his ideology and said why ,whats gonna happen am i gonna explode or something.he had no responce other than you just cant its not concidered politically correct.well i got news for you world it is by me.so who makes these redicolous rulings.i also informed him i can say that as i just did.[still waiting for explosion]

not to long ago at the store i work at a woman came in and started breast feeding her baby. i kindly told the woman that she couldn't do that in the store. then she asked what was she supposed to do her baby was hungy? then i politley said it's ok to feed her baby but just not here then i asked her to leave. then she started fussing and demanded to see my boss. when my boss (who's a woman) came out and heard the woman's complaint, she apologized to her and chewed me out in the backroom. i wasn't trying to be a jerk, i just don't think that's appropriate in a public setting. personally i think that breast feeding can go in the same catergory as public urination, defecating, and masturbation in that they should all be done behind closed doors. maybe there's something i don't see, what do you think?

I like to wear short skirts. It can keep me cool when it is hot (which down here in Big D, gets quite hot). Is it wrong for me to wear a short skirt to church? A short skirt for me comes about a finger length above the knees. I don't want to be a ho in church, but not a prude either. There are alot of nice guys there.

We usually or rather mostly abuse in our school even while speaking the normal language. But why, just look cool in front of fake or unreal people who don't know about there own life or is it the addiction that comes from the unethical elements of this society.

I try to be a good person and Christian and my husband and I have a great marriage, I have two beautiful little girls and I love my job. I am incredibly blessed but every now and then I can be so mean and rude, and not think before I speak. How can I change?

i stopped by wendys on my way home after work was over and the woman giving me my meal said hi and bye in spanish since that woman saw that looked hispanic b/c she was obviously hispanic,i think mexican,anyways the majority of the people in america speak english and how are you going to learn english by speaking spanish - so i told her"talk in english"!

tonite it is very cold,so I saved money by going to bed early and turning the heat off.My girlfriend walked out after I performed 8 under sheet farts in a row.I definitely was warmer doing this.why are girls so fickle? For the record she is 54.

How early before the graduation date? I'm graduating from college on May 14th. Our school has already had commencement fairs with advertisements about ordering graduation announcements to send to family and friends.

This person is friendly on a one to one basis like she will go to lunch with you, or call you from her office and be friendly, but when everybody gets together she acts like she doesn't know you, even if you ask her a question or say hi, she will play it down.

I'm a grad student and I go to school full time and work part time. I rarely go anywhere fun, or do anything special with my friends. However, tomorrow night is a close friend of mine's birthday. She original wasn't going to do anything for her birthday, but then at the last minute decided to go out to a really fancy, trendy restuarant in a large city near our home. She, of course, invited me to go.

However, I'm scheduled to work at my job tomorrow night. It's too late at this point in time to ask my managers to switch my schedule and too late to ask anyone to cover for me. My job always over staffs on the weekends, and I really won't be missed much.

I'm regualary a good employee. I rarely call out and I always do my job well.
I really want to go out tomorrow night, but I'm not sure what to do about my job. Should I call out. I work hard and feel I deserve a night out.

Also, this current job has nothing to do with my studies or career. It pays min wage.
