If you have talked to them with bad results and they continue to disturb you, you can complain to the apt. owner/manager.if this does,nt work you could lodge a complaint with the police .it may depend on where you live, but most cities have what they call a noise ordinance where you cant run machinery or have electronics such as stereos or t.v.s turned too loud .or loud parties after ten o:clock.the first time they will only warn them .maybe this is all they need to know you are serious.
It was really inconsiderate for them to not take your complaint to heart.good luck.><>

When you say that your daughter is due soon, I assume that you mean a baby is on the way. Well, rest assured, when that baby arrives, there will be PLENTY of noise (crying) coming from your own apartment at 2 AM (and 3 AM and 4 AM and so on). I would not complain now unless you are prepared to hear them complain later.

Start blaring your radio at 8 am..lol
Seriously, if talking to them didn't work the next step is going to the landlord. Be sure to put the noise complaint in WRITING. After 3 written complaints, start calling the police.
Be sure to document EVERYTHING that way if it doesn't stop and you need to break your lease, you have enough to hold up in court.

You shouldn't even have to put up with it until 11:00..I live above people and try everything I can to be real quiet. It's just respect. Obviously these people don't have any respect for you. You need to demand it! Start by asking them..to keep it down.

Well, you're unfortunately going to be perceived as a bad neighbor, even though they are the ones who are uncaring...but I'd call the police. There are noise laws in every city that usually call for quiet after 10 p.m. It's your right to have quiet. Good luck.

That is very inconsiderate of them. Isn't there a landlord, or something you can complain to about this? If so, I would, and let them know that you tried to resolve this by talking to them yourself. It seems to me like there are rules, or even laws about this kind of thing.

Tell your husband to handle it, if you are pregnant, don't put yourself at risk. If the person who lives above you doesn't stop, go to the property manager, most apartment complexes have noise rules.
