This girl sent a friend request but I've never met her before since I live in California and she's from up north.
Not a big deal but don't know what to make of it. Theories?

Possibilities could include:
* Random girl trying to boost her friend count.
* Some people add anyone and everyone with the same last name as them.
* Some people just want to view your profile and getting on your friends list is the only way to do that on facebook.

people on myspace do that all the time, some is spam some are people trying to make their friends list grow. You should not worry about it much, You are in control! Simply either deny the request or accept it, your choice.

I hate stranger "friend" requests! I get them all the time and ignore them. I think people just want to make their friend's list longer.

a) she thinks she knows you
b) she wants to know you
c) she wants to make it look like she has more friends
OR
d) she knows you but you don't remember her.
