"Hey is for horses" what does that mean??? Is it bad to say hey whatsup in school, do people get offended?

My daughter is in a speach competition that requies that the students not be professional speakers.(get paid for speaking) I was told today that a young lady that is known to be a public speaker in our area is also in the competition. I know that my daughter can win the competition weather she is in it or not, but if she takes 2nd or 3rd place she will be taking it from another students who deserves to be there. My daughter thinks we should wait to see if she places and then say something. I feel that I should not let it get that far. What do you think?. (the competition officials do now that shes a public speaker, they didn't know we knew.)

i am disabled and on a lot of meds for bipolar disorder. i volunteer for political campaigns for something to do and get a sense of service from the community. i approach a friend of mine and his g/f i just met and they were talking to 2 strangers (women) and i was really really buzzing and said "lordy lordy looks who's 40" b/c most of the people there were middle aged and i am 28 about to turn 29 (next to the big three- oh) next month. needless to say, the women all were EXTREMELY OFFENDED, and my friend asked how i got there, i drove , and he immediatly offered me a ride home. i accepted with gratitude. but now i feel like a complete idiot. should i bring it up to my friend and apologize? blame it on psych meds combined w/ alchohol? not show up for a few days and wait for my friend to call saying he misses me and they need my help? what should i do?

Isn't it possible that because we were all created to have our own minds and feelings that one person might not feel exactly as another does and instead of coming in here and calling someone crazy for how they feel you could be of comfort to them.??? Is that SUCH the difficult thing to do?

I am going to actually two wedding this summer, and I know that I didnt appreciate people wearing black to my wedding, I also don't want to wear just white either, thats kinda steppin on the bride's toes, but can you wear a black and white dress?

You don't need to identify the group you are laughing at but be honest, don't you feel good hearing some group being on the receiving end of a good joke? Aren't some jokes just so funny they must be told?

I was at my girlfriends house and we were playing cards and I lost a bet to her..

She said I have to dress up like a girl for a day. So she said we should get on Yahoo! Answers and ask the good people what she should make me wear.

She said she wants you to pick everything for me to wear from head to toe and that she will pick the answer she likes the most. For it to be considered YOU MUST PROVIDE A LINK TO EVERYTHING.
