I always tip the pizza guy $4.00 to $5.00 regardless of the bill total. It's not like a waiter or waitress. No one has ever acted like it wasn't enough. And most give me a nice thank you. I think if they got a 4/5 tip for every delivery it would be a pretty good night for them -k-

I say no less than 20%. Depending on how long it took you to get the pizza and if you order regularly. Usually, I would tip about $3-5. Remember, they work for their tips.

What I would do is give the guy $30. Then if he asks you how much you want back give them like a $2 tip, but if they just give you the right amount of change then give them a $4 tip maybe $5.

I would usually give him $2 and what ever coinage is due back. But it also depends on the weather. If I am having a pizza delivered because it is storming, or snowing or really cold & I do not want to brave the elements than I usually throw in an extra $1 for making him/her come out in the nasty weather

Since he delivers food but doesn't serve you, the proper tip would be 10%.
If the pizza is $21, then $2 would be fine.
The company pays for their gas.
If you want to put in a bit extra, you always can but it is not expected.

well it depends most people give about 15% when they are out at a restaurant which would be about $3.15. But seeing as he went out all that way i would say a 20% tip would be a better amount. that would be like $4.20... i hope that helps

$5 at least, think about it, the food is coming to you, you don't have to do anything but pick up the phone and order the food. You don't have to get dressed or use gas to get to a restaurant and sit there and get waited on by a terrible waiter!

You should tip on how far they have to travel to deliver your food. Such as if you live way away give them five or six dollars but if you live fairly close only two or three.
