I am going to actually two wedding this summer, and I know that I didnt appreciate people wearing black to my wedding, I also don't want to wear just white either, thats kinda steppin on the bride's toes, but can you wear a black and white dress?

I don't see what's wrong with black... white I understand, though. Black tends to be a formal color and plenty of men wear it, so what's wrong with a woman wearing black to a wedding?

Either way, the eyes are going to be on the bride, not on you!

No!
Never wear black or white to a wedding! It's summer, you should wear pastel or bright colors.

As long as it's not overly black or white but a nice mixture of the two I don't see a problem.
